Wandee Bed & Breakfast is a sweet gem in Khao Lak. If it's clean, comfortable and basic for a good price, located conveniently to everything yet quiet at night, this is a great place to stay. Rooms respectfully cleaned daily, beds nice and firm, linen lovely. The room itself was super spacious with tiled floors, fans (the room was fine without AC) a small fridge, towelling rack, table and chair is also supplied. Bathroom was clean and fresh, in working order. Wandee staff are friendly and helpful. The entire property is cared for, clean and well kept - nice outdoor spaces to chill out, day and night. Easy walking distance to restaurants, bars, shopping. Highly recommend Wandee Bed & Breakfast for a lovely stay in Khao Lak.

Everything was lovely! Nothing to dislike really.

Clean, spacious and well-equipped room • Very comfortable bed • Great shower pressure and temperature (bathroom floor dried very quickly after use which was ideal) • Lots of space to store clothes or hang beach stuff • Cute balcony area with table and chairs for relaxing • Effective airconditioning • Bed and room made up every day with new water bottles and toiletries put in the room • Multiple mirrors! Rare to find a room with a good mirror in both the bathroom and bedroom • The bungalow is next to the main road so within walking distance to lots of restaurants, shops, cafes and bars, but it was tucked down a quiet and tranquil side road within lots of trees and nature, so very peaceful with no noise at night • Easy 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach • Good laundry service within the accommodation, very clean and reliable service on site using ‘Auntie Jit’s Laundry’ • Friendly and helpful staff

The only minor criticism we can come up with is that the doors to the bungalow were wide open when we arrived, so there were a few mosquitos in our room during the stay.

Nice, clean, big room. Balcony, good location with lots of places to eat and get a massage. Not too far from the beach (10-15 min walk).

Bed was hard (typical for Thailand) AC and fridge only worked, when we were in the room - ok with ac, but not being able to run the fridge while out was annoying, and I booked this hotel, since they had a fridge in the room as my SIL was supposed to come and she’s diabetic, so need a fridge for medicine. No lift and no help with luggage. Would be nice with a shower curtain or something. Noise from the street - but at least we couldn’t hear the roosters waking up our friend in room 1.

My stay at Wandee Bed & Breakfast was truly wonderful. This is not a place for unnecessary frills or extravagant luxury, but it offers something much better, a homely, clean, and peaceful environment. The owner was exceptional, going out of her way to help me despite navigating a very challenging personal situation. Her warmth, kindness, and welcoming demeanor made me feel genuinely cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a comfortable and heartfelt experience. Thank you for making my time in Khao Lak so memorable!

Everything was perfect!

Standard Thai guesthouse with lovely owners, right next to Nang Thong and all it's cafes and restaurants and about 8 mins walk to the beach. Very clean and well-kept.

It's not really the place for lounging around, if you're after that thing. I ended up leaving several days early because I wanted someone more chill. That's not the fault of the guesthouse, but it is something to be mindful of if you want to be away from the thick of it all.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The hotel were very easygoing with coming back early or late and Ms. Goi (pardon my Thai spelling) was very helpful, friendly and quick to give advice about local things to do. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were very careful not to interfere with my personal belongings. Which is a fine art with housekeeping. Go for it if you are a budget Traveller and want good value for money! 💰

My room didn't have air-conditioning but the fan was strong enough to keep me cool

For a low price, you get a really clean and comfortable spacious room. I had a standard room with fan and no terrace or balcony, so maybe not ideal for a longer stay, but you'll get what is advertised. I booked this room in Khao Lak because I wanted to rest, clean up, and get some laundry down before traveling further south, and this stay was perfect for just that. Also the location was great for this purpose. I wouldn't say Khao Lak is a special place to visit, but you have shops, restaurants and all you may need within walking distance. Very kind and helpful assistance received as well.

See above. This is not a luxury stay with airco, outside seating area and extra amenities or services. It is just a comfortable and very clean room for a good price with great front office service.

Great location, comfortable and spacious room, very clean. Helpful and friendly hotel staff, she even called the taxi company for me when they were late. There was also a really friendly cat in the reception!

Khoi, the owner, is very sweet and helps with everything you need. The room was nice & clean, not facing the main road and therefore also quiet at night. It's close to a beach and many restaurants and shops are nearby. If I came back to Khao Lak, this is where I'd stay.

it is a beautiful location even if it is located directly on the road, bit this is exactly what we wanted. the room was spacious and very clean, with a fridge and water boiler, perfect for a small snack. i loved the terrace and the fact that we had a back door with a little lodge and a water bassin to wash the dishes. Goy has been a perfect host. she helped me with bookings and useful hints on where to go. Also, she was so so kind with my kids, connected them with others for the Songkran festival - we highly recommend this place!!!
