Clean tidy great pool. Close to main drag.

The bed base is a slab of concrete. The mattress was was the firmest I’ve ever felt. Combine the two it was like a granite slab in a morgue. I couldn’t sleep and was stiff all over.

There is a lot to like about the place. First, the owner, she s very cool and available. She also kindly let us use the pool the last day before taking our night bus to BKK. The pool area is very cool, and there s even 2 smoking corners there. Always fresh beers available for a very fair price (80B the big bottle) Very good location. Center of Khao Lak, but soooo close to the jungle. From the pool, u d wonder if you re in a city or in the forest :) Close to everything you can find in Khao Lak. I also loved all the vegetation around ... exotic plants, banana trees, papaya trees all over the place, offering some intimacy too, from a bungalow to another. The bungalow itself was clear, clean and we LOVED the thai shower outside. A very nice plus.

There is just one thing that would prevent me from coming back, is the bed. The mattress support was nothing else than a pure concrete block. If you sleep deeply, on your back, it s ok. if not ... you might have difficulties/regret the choice. A pity cause the place is really cool.

Banana bungalows is fantastic! The accommodation had a decent sized pool and every morning it was cleaned. The room was cleaned daily with fresh bottles of water provided every day at no extra cost. They also did a range of different breakfasts which were always decent which ranged between 100-150 THB. Laundry service is available. Chang beer was cheaper here than in the bars. The woman on reception was always friendly and happy to help where she could, you can book your excursions here, she even organised a car to take us to Bang Rong Pier. Would 100% recommend this place to stay. The area in itself seemed very resort orientated (package holidays), all bars along the beach front had hotels attached to them. However all bars, restaurants and beaches are within a short walk from the hotel.

nice cute place ! the hotel is on a calm place but really near the main street. a lot if restaurants around the corner and supermarkets. they cleaned every day and it was very clean. two showers, one inside and one outside (private) and i loved the outdoor shower with the banana leafs. also Minnie at the receptions is really friendly. we did rent a scooter that was really good! everything was perfect - recommend it!

Minnie who works on reception, is very helpful and kind she will do anything she can to help you have a great stay The pool area is very clean. The pool is cleaned every morning by a lovely young man Our rooms were cleaned daily. Banana bungalows is a great location close to shops ( 7/11 ) restaurants and bars. Great value for money we all know you get what you pay for

great place for short stay in khaolak, location is near the main street so you can easily reach a lot of restaurantes. to the beach is about 7 min to walk. if you like walking you can even reach khao lak local market its about 24 min walk. great pool, clean. very reasonable price.

Lovely bungalows in a lovely setting. Spacious. Clean. Excellent pool and area around pool. Restaurant on same street was exceptional. Easy access to restaurants and shops. Beach a 10 minutes walk walk was good. Good base for Koh Sok etc

A bit more storage good and/or another shelf or hooks in bathroom. But really everything good

Everything is fine, if breakfast was included in this price, it would be absolutely gorgeous! It would also be nice to make more convenient containers for gel and shampoo, since it is quite difficult to get them out.

Sometimes you may have noisy neighbors, but this is not the hotel's problem.

The bungalow was clean and everything was as described. The house itself was nice and the staff friendly. I just felt the price wasn’t fully in line with what you get – there are other places in the same price range that offer more, like breakfast included. It wasn’t bad at all, just not outstanding. That’s why I’m giving one star less.

Convenience to Khao lak centre yet quiet being off the main road. Other guests friendly and quiet and staff extremely accomodating. Pool was never busy, always clean. We used their transfer service to airport.
