Hotel Krige offers cozy yet modern and safe acommodation. My room was spacious, neat, practical, clean and quiet. It was equipped with a desk and chair and had enough room for all my luggage. The en-suite bathroom offered a shower with perfect water pressure and neat toilet and basin. The bed was very comfy and the bed linen and towels were spotless and fresh. I travelled alone and felt safe and secure in my room. The hotel is within walking distance from busy Dorp street and famous hang outs in Stellenbosch Central. Travelling via Uber was quite easy. Though I am not a fan of breakfast time I quite enjoyed the tasty breakfast. Breakfast is self-service in the cozy reception area and offers a variety of pastries, cold meats, some cheeses, some bread options, cereals, yoghurt and fruit and a choice of juices or coffee and tea. Overall staff were very friendly and helpful especially, Astee and Monique during my stay. Secure basement parking via car lift was available. Hotel Krige is the perfect acommodation if you don't like busy and crowded hotel lobbies but need modern and safe accommodation.

The hotel is conveniently located close to historic downtown, with shops and many good rstaurants nearby. A highlight of the hotel is the rooftop terrace with view at the surrounding mountains. The hotel interior is clean and modern, the room has a water kettle and a coffee machine, with a good assortment of tea and coffee available. My room had a proper desk of decent size, which is a definite plus if one has to do some work on the computer dusring the stay. Some may find the breakfast a little spartan, but quality has been consistently good throughout my stay. Staff was friendly and helpful, also flexible with storing luggage well beyond the ususal check-in/check-out times.

The shower cabin drain was smelling a little at times, but clearly, this was not due to any cleanliness issues within the bath - it must have come from somewhere further down the drain pipes.

The rooms were spacious and neat. Rooftop has an unreal view and a great place to relax. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall a great experience !

The breakfeast was not what we expected. It was more of snacks than actual breakfeast. Would recommend walking around and finding a place to eat

Staff welcoming and quite accommodating. My room was nice and spacious. The lady serving breakfast was very nice and tried her best to make me feel welcome and well served. The hotel is close to everything including a great variety of restuarants but in a nice and quiet part of town.

Cleanliness could be better as parts of the floor were sticky, there were small plastic papers on the floor and used soap wrapping in the bathroom sink top and there was hair on the headboard and carpet. TV channel options very limited. Milk, Tea & coffee not replenished.

I liked the equipment provided in the room (fridge, microwave, kettle coffee machine). Room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed that it was very quiet. Staff was professional with quick check in and checkout.

Ground floor rooms with patio have no view, you are looking at a blank white wall, maybe some colourful pot plants could make it better and the website should mention that so that people know when they choose. Some info/brochure about the hotel or a QR code provided to learn about hotel facilities would be helpful. Although room was clean and comfortable it lacked character, nothing in terms of decor on walls or elsewhere. That there are no phones in the room even if its internal to contact reception.

Great location and secure underground parking made us feel very safe. The room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was described as "grab & go" so I wasn't expecting a lot but it was much better than expected with a good choice (not huge) but enough for what we wanted and a mix of hot and cold food

Whilst I know we arrive 15 mins early for check in the first thing we were told was that we had to wait. By the time we had completed check in and parked the car it was on time so seemed a bit over the top to be quite to abrupt

Perfect location in Stellenbosch CBD, walking distance to most restaurants and to the historic sites. The room was spacious, with a nice courtyard, Pristine, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was a Bonus. There's an efficient laundry service called Jeffs next to the hotel as well as a SPA across the road. Coffee lovers that Enjoy Plato Coffee is also situated across the road. Staff was amazing, very fast, efficient and friendly.

Looooved the warm welcome, helpfulness, kindness of the staff from the moment you walk in. Adrian and Brandon in reception are amazing!!!! And monique at breakfast available for anything and everything. These 3 contribute largely to this little hotels warm welcome. A little hotel where everything has its place, spotlessly clean, and central. Situated down the rd from the main hub of stellenbosch. All the restaurants and shopping area are literally a stone throw away.

The hotel and room were both so clean and modern and very comfortable. The power in the rain shower was brilliant and the bed was so big and comfortable with incredibly soft sheets and fluffy mat underneath the bed which was nice in the morning time to step on to. The rooftop view where breakfast was served was also beautiful and location so handy, able to walk everywhere .

The food served at breakfast could have been a bit better, pastries were dry / overcooked and very minimal selection, maybe some simple cereals could be handy.

Lovely modern hotel with very comfortable large rooms, comfy beds & friendly reception staff. Super location, I walked to shops and restaurants & felt very safe at night. The hotel is stylish and I the car lift to safe basement parking was super. Great water pressure in the shower.

I got a great rate with booking.com for my 3 nights, If I had paid full price, I would have been very unimpressed with the breakfast. Little plastic containers of fruit, meh processed yogurt and tiny rolls with ham, processed packet muffins ... not really the sumptuous continental I was expecting from such a classy hotel. Isnt there a bakery where they can get some fresh croissants nearby?
