For the price the place was good. I have booked last minute and check in was really easy. I didn’t have time to use the WiFi , So, no opinion about that. I stayed for one night. I was expecting a clean bed and a clean private bathroom and I got it. The room as two windows, tv ,tea, coffee, milk and a kattle . What I think the hotel could improve is the stairs and corridor cleaning. For this price don’t expect to get 5 stars decoration. The place is very quiet and 10 minutes walking to the center. I don’t understand people giving bad reviews to a place where the cost per night is less then 60 £ I have been at Other very well known hotel with prices around 100 £ where I could find horrible smell and dirty sofas in the room .

One of Housekeeping boy at this hotel is exceptional! Rooms are nice, staff is friendly, and attention to detail is remarkable. Highly recommend! Don't follow negative comment valu for money,

It was close to where we wanted to go as we were picking daughter up from university. Ideal having a shop two doors away..

The walls seem quite thin, you can hear people talking outside in the hallway..

No food facility...

When I arrived at this picturesque marvel of an old pub from times long forgotten, my senses where overwhelmed by exotic spices and took me back to my times travelling around the Indian subcontinent. The concierge service was to one of the highest of standards when he allowed us to check in 30mins early without extra cost, he also arranged the borrowing of a phone charger. The waterfall in the long since abandoned public bar was also and lovely added extra to have. When shown to my room I walked down the rich mahogany walkway, which I would say wouldn't be outdated to the modern contemporary decor that bazil faulty would be proud of. The bed was extremely comfortable and made me feel like a marshmallow given hug. I would fully recommend staying here if you are absolutely inebriated to the point of not return.

Good location,but bit risky to leave something in the car,no secure carpark

Need definitely properly refurbishment, floor boards squeak,bed is the same, mattress is old, inside cupboards left previously visitors crisps,ladies pads, Need more attention for cleaning, at least redecorating rooms,

Clean, lovely, comfy room. Great price overall. Shops nearby and food all around.

Strong smell of food coming from the staff room when I returned in the evening.

My daughter & I had a great stay in a twin room. Spacious, tea/coffee facilities, hot shower, large TV with freeview. The owner is exceptional, couldn't do enough to help us, great guy - thank you! Good location, we were attending an event at The Pryzm, safe 10 minute walk. This hotel is great value for money & we would recommend & stay here ourselves again.

Great value for money

I feel like the facility is being left to rot, there's real potential for this place to unseat the regular budget hotels in the area. Proper management would definitely boost patronage and overall profitability.
