Thank you Nelson, Maria Snr & Maria Jnr for your fabulous hospitality in your fabulous home ! This is a fabulous home away from home for anyone visiting Paraty. Fantastic location by the river within 15min walking distance to the historical old town. The entire house is furnished lovingly & superbly well as our hosts are artists & adorned the place with their lovely artworks. Large rooms, fabulous beds & a fantastic breakfast spread (the best we have had in our travels in Brazil so far)! You can simply chill at the property in the pool or just lounge around reading accompanied by their 3 most relaxed cats ever ! Wish we stayed longer ! Loved it !

We are really glad we chose this place. It exceeded our expectations in almost every aspect. The parking spot is private and safe. The hosts were super friendly and helpful, gave us a map on arrival with loads of recommendations. The room was super clean, spacious and cooled on arrival. The room was also cleaned daily without special requests or payments. The breakfast was the best that was offered in any place in a hotel/B&B in our trip, omelets and tapiocas were freshly made and really delicious. The buffet was generous with a lot of variety. No insects made a surprise appearance :D and the cats lounging around were the cherry on top!

Wow!! I absolutamente loved everything about this place, the cleanliness, the staff, the decor! There’s an outdoor shower, the bathroom is so impeccable and clean, AC is strong, bed is comfortable. Breakfast is served every morning, with fruits, cakes and made-to-order eggs. They provide with you beach towels and beach bags if you need it. This place is walking distance from centro (10-15 mins walk), and yet it’s super safe and private and quiet! The best part of this place is the owner, he is very kind and caring, he speaks Spanish as well! he and his wife painted all the decors and this place feels very homey. I stayed here solo for 4 nights and it was still not enough ❤️ I will definitely come back, and I highly recommend it to everybody!!! and this place and Paraty is my favorite part of Brasil! Thank you so much Nelson!! Don’t hesitate, book this place! You will love it!

We loved everything. This little Posada bursts with charm and sophistication. From the moment we stepped into the grounds we felt so comfortable. The owners Maria and Nelson are so charming and welcoming. They made you feel right at home. The room is decorated simply but beautifully with a big plush bed , luxurious sheets , good size bathroom and a large seating area. The breakfast was amazing. There was a variety of baked goods, scrambled eggs, ham cheese, olives, tomatoes and great coffee. But the best part about breakfast was seeing the friendly staff especially Fatima. She was the head cook. We have no Portuguese and she had no English but she greeted us every morning with a smile and always confirmed that we wanted scrambled eggs with hand gestures. She even made me another Flan cake because I enjoyed her first one so much. We were planning on only spending 4 days but ended up staying 10 days. This was truly a beautiful experience. Sorry, there is not enough space to describe briefly the unique beauty of this ...HOME. That's right: the Home that Senior Nelson, the Artist designed and decorated for his friends. In his CASA , you are not a "customer" but a dear friend. You feel like at your family home. Every little thing around has its own meaning that you remember from your childhood: cats, sculptures, painting, aroma of a fresh coffe and taste of home-made pudim . If I'll be asked to name just one place (hotel, guest house, caravan-saray, bungalo, palace, castle etc.) where I have stayed during my lifetime, I will answer CASA ARTE CABORE

Amazing clean room in a beautiful house. The owners Nelson and Maria were so friendly and welcoming we felt it like home. They are both great artist and the place is so beautifully decorated. Bonus the three beautiful cats they keep around the property!

Very small thing - but it will be good to provide some face towels along with the shower towels. In any case if you are like us and need them just ask and they will be happy to provide.

Excellent hosts. Very friendly and multilingual, helpful and accommodating. They had great tips for things to do and best restaurants and cafes. When we arrived very early, Nelson let us into our room straight away and insisted we should have breakfast with him! Three very charming cats added to the welcome. The rooms were modern, well-appointed and spotless. Ours included a private patio with hammock and outdoor shower. Bed and linen excellent. Great backdrop of birds and a small pool to enjoy in hot weather too. Lovely walk (10mins) into historic centre along the river. Highly recommended. We'll be coming back! Everything! The space, the owners, the breakfast, it was an amazing stay in Paraty. Very well located, 15min walk from the city center next to the canal. Super safe area. We loved it and already miss the super friendly cats that lounge around the house. Thank you!

Warmer water in the shower would be a plus! But other than that nothing!! Perfect stay

Welcomed by Nestor, the owner (with his wife, an artist with a gallery in the city), super friendly and who speak good English . Very charming, well decorated hotel with nicely furnished and clean rooms (nice bathroom as well). Excellent breakfast with variety and quality. The hotel is in a quiet quarter, a short walk along the river on a nice promenade from the more busy part of the city.

Very friendly owner in an interesting boutique art hotel. Owner was kind to meet us when we arrived late, which we appreciated. Had a really nice breakfast in the morning, comfy clean rooms and a very curious cat who will try his best to come into the room - the true hotel owner! Very pleasant stay and nice to chat about David Hockney as we were waiting for our pickup.
