We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tell Madaba Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Madaba. This Christian family-run hotel truly excels in hospitality, making guests feel completely at home. Edward, the son, welcomed us with genuine warmth and kindness, even upgrading our room—a thoughtful gesture that was a lovely surprise. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the mother’s exceptional cooking. The breakfast was not only delicious but also offered an incredible variety that felt almost limitless. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, with bedroom slippers and toiletries thoughtfully provided. Its location in the town center is incredibly convenient; just a one-minute walk brings you to shops, including a well-stocked fruit store and several souvenir shops perfect for finding gifts to take home.

Our stay at this family-run hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, making us feel right at home. Every request or desire was met with genuine care and prompt attention. Visiting during Ramadan made our experience even more special, as we were treated to delicious pastries at dusk—a thoughtful and heartwarming touch. Despite there being only three guests in total, the breakfast spread was unbelievably generous, with an abundance of fresh and delicious options. The hospitality here is truly remarkable. If you're looking for a place where kindness, comfort, and incredible food come together, do yourself a favor and stay here. You won’t regret it!

The hotel is spotless, the rooms are large and well outfitted (there was even an iron and ironing board!) The location is steps away from the major sights and Edward and his mother were extremely welcoming and helpful. Edward was able to get us a discount day pass to the Dead Sea at the very last moment. And we had a very early departure so would not be able to enjoy the breakfast. So instead, they packed up the breakfast for us which came in very handy once we got through the security at the airport. Thank you for making our stay a pleasure.

Edward and his family were the perfect hosts. We got lots of great tips on what to visit and which restaurants to go to. The hotel is in a good location and we could walk to all the sites. There is parking on the street or on a private lot a bit further. The room was big, clean and quiet. Breakfast was served in a room at the top of the house. Edward's mum went to the trouble to make several nice savoury and sweet treats. Apart from these there were lots of other options. If in Madaba we would certainly return.

The best hospitality I've ever experienced. I was made to feel so welcome by Edward and his mum. Edward gave me so much advice about Madaba and onwards travel within Jordan - he even sorted my TV for me to watch a football match I was interested in - what a legend. Breakfast each morning was filling and tasty. Parking available right outside & in a private car park. Seriously brilliant hospitality, comfy room etc. There is a reason the reviews here are so positive - it's a brilliant place to stay.

A cozy boutique family hotel with friendly, attentive service and convenient parking. We received excellent recommendations and tips on what to visit and where to eat in Madaba. The breakfast was amazing, with a huge selection of Jordanian dishes served on the hotel’s top floor with a fantastic view of Madaba. The hotel owner herself introduced different dishes and took great care of us. We had a wonderful time chatting with her over breakfast. We chose Tell Madaba as a stopover on our way to the Dead Sea.

This hotel is just great. I've loved everything about it, but to mention some highlights, I'd say first of all it's spotless clean. Wherever you look there's someone cleaning on something clean! Breakfast was excellent with either sweet and local products baked every morning by the wonderful anche always smiling owner ( Edward's mother, forgive me, I can't write your name). In the evening I would sit outside in the patio and chat with other guests, everything was so relaxing. The bed was super comfy, the hotel is near to all main attractions. It is like being home, but better. Thank you very much.

Everything was perfect

The hosts could not be any kinder. We arrived at the hotel around 5:00am and decided to rest in the car until a reasonable hour. We were startled awake by a woman banging on our window asking why we were sleeping in the car. Our luggage was quickly whisked inside and before we knew it we were sitting at the table with a huge breakfast before us! The facilities, food, atmosphere and most importantly, the hosts were top notch. The location was walkable to all the sites. If you’re planning a stay in Madaba, this is where you want to be!! Our only regret is that we wished we could stay longer….

Absolutely nothing !

Everything about this property is a 10/10, Edward and his mom were the most hospitable people we met in our entire lives. It was our first stay in Jordan, and we couldn't feel more welcoming into this country. Very comfortable beds, showers were incredible, all seems to be new or recently renovated. Breakfast was homemade made, abundant, and delicious! Located just a few minutes of the important landmarks of Madaba. Definitely recommended staying in Tell Madaba We loved it so much that we re arranged our plans to come back for another stay.
