Very nice hotel for everyone. Good starting place to travel around and explore attractions in a neighbourhood but you need a car to be mobile. Nearest shops are at the distance of 3-4 km. The hotel has large and comfortable rooms, many swimming pools, beach at Dead Sea with mud for free. It was fun to have these local SPA & Wellness every day. Breakfast is very good with a lot of choice for everyone. Soft drinks for free in a room. Staff is very kind and helpful.

Checking guests at entrance for bringing own food and drinks. This is super odd! Even if you want to have some sweets or energy drink (not available in the area of the hotel), you need to give it back. They use the metal detection gate and X-ray for your personal belongings every time you enter the hotel. That's very stressful and unpleasant experience. Water in all pools was very cold in the beginning of May, so we used it only once. Showers at the beach didn't work but they have been doing some construction work there. Food and drinks in the area of the hotel were expensive for the family with kids.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Dead Sea, and I can confidently say this is a completely different experience from when I visited last year—it has truly transformed! The service is outstanding, with staff who are genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive. The beach access is incredible—far better than most other hotels in the Dead Sea, which often struggle in this area. The pools are spotless and well-maintained, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, this stay was exactly what we needed to unwind and recharge. Everything—from the hospitality to the cleanliness and facilities—made our time here memorable. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back.

Noting at all

I won't give a bad rating because I don't want certain situations to compromise the good work and dedication of many. This is my experience: 1) the amount I paid was different from the one on booking because I was told the tax had changed. 2) I wasn't allowed to swim in a cotton T-shirt for hygiene reasons, but I saw other guests cleaning their flip-flops in the pool. 3) I wasn't allowed to bring my personal item, a muted trumpet, into my room so as not to disturb the peace of the place (never happened in over two decades of traveling around the world). It's a shame that in the common areas there was always music and people with their smartphones at high volume. This experience won't change my love for the Middle East. I hope these observations help management work better in the future for future guests.

This is our second stay in three years, and once again, it confirmed our positive impression — a truly wonderful place to stay. Special thanks to Rafaat and Jaafar from housekeeping, Anas at reception, and the two Filipino ladies at the lobby restaurant for making our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommended! I believe it’s time to refresh the rooms and update the furniture. The closet doors, for example, were difficult to open and close.

The Hotel has a perfect location, with an own beach to dead sea. Most of the staff is kind and helpful. Rooms are nice, clean and well equiped. The cuisine is also good and variable. They provide mineral water for free.

There are a lot of flies, even to open the door is dificult if you want to avoid let them in.

We have actually selected to visit Jordan by coincidence being tired from long winter and attempt to escape from Europe to Orient. We arrived luckily early in the in spring when the whole earth became green, blossomed and the air was fragrant and fresh. The hotel is surrounded with a beautifully maintained garden with number of swimming pools. Probably due to early season only one with large Jacuzzi was open. Swimming in Dead sea is always enjoyment, but as result of windy weather it wasn't accessible everyday. So, I could imagine this hotel could have something that others may not even consider having e.g. one pools filled with water from the dead sea :) {Actually, it may not be that costly just a plastic pipe and a stainless steel pump} An unforgettable experience was the breakfast or dinner with an incredible selection of aromas and tastes... All people we have met there were very kind and always tried to help us even Police on the road. We felt welcome and very safe in Jordan and at the hotel.

It was impersonal and had very little atmosphere. The reception staff were efficient but aloof. My binoculars and phone speaker were confiscated by an unfriendly security officer as I entered the hotel for reasons of ‘privacy of guests) which was clearly not the reason. I had the binoculars for when visiting sites like Petra, hardly when lying by the pool! The only restaurant was the main buffet restaurant at a set price and I wanted to eat a very light supper. They did accommodate me but I sat alone in the other restaurant and felt embarrassed.

As am a golden Member am used to be in Holliday inn and used on the atmospher and I ready feel home , and if I find something not the way I am used to I ask and immediately it is there. Thank you for the efforts and especial thank you to Mr. Mohammad khaled from front desk and to hassan from the pool and the crew in the main restaurant belline Maria Baker maohammad and the whole staff and also to Chief Murad al hasanat.

I advise to look again of the price of the dinner as it is not reasonable and guests choose to go to other restaurants and not to dine in because of the high prices.

2 departments were outstanding. We are an elderly couple and my wife has some movement difficulties. Rashad and Ra’ad beach attendants were very attentive to my wife’s needs at the mud and beach. They took extremely good care of our well being. The F&B department is extremely important to guests. Led by the very hands on Mr Hussam Abuhana and despite the very busy breakfast and dinner crowds, he and his well trained shorthanded team worked steady and fast. His department was super excellent in both quality tasteful food and attentive service. All performed so well but Siti was particularly outstanding. We must also mention Rafat the housekeeping supervisor and his staff who ensured we have a smoke free room and an adequate amenities supply since we decline cleaning service. We also remember Suliman the buggy driver for his pro-active help.

The hotel top management could also do a lot to upgrade the hotel to help the Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance Departments. Compared to my previous stay at this hotel in 2014, the room has lots of wear and tear issues and need urgent upgrading. However, the service from many staff was beyond excellent. For us, this somewhat makes up for what we (an Intercontinental group Priority Club member) would expect fm an IHG hotel like Holiday Inn. For this reason we rate the hotel excellent.

Amazing place to stay, it's the last pace we stayed after traveling through Jordan, we stayed mainly in budget options and this is a completely different league of course. Beds super comfy and staff super friendly. The breakfast was not only Jordanian with a lot of options which we liked. You can walk to the beach and take a bath in the dead sea, which is a really special experience. Check out was at 12, they offered to keep our luggage save and allowed us to keep using the facilities for the remainder of the day. Which is very cool!

Not all the pools were open which we didn't knew about before booking, it's okay and understandable, there weren't many guests, so it wasn't busy at the pool that was open. Only it would be nice to know before. The diner was expensive at 40JOD, so we ended up getting diner somewhere else which is fine, just be aware of this. The staff was maybe a bit too eager to assist you at times. Some people probably like this, but our Dutch people are not used to this. Again, definitely no reasons not to go here.
