Fantastic location, the adults only pool was perfect, the buffet was above average for what you would expect at an all inclusive resort. The hotel itself was beautifully designed, it felt like you were staying in a village, and everything was clean and well presented. The staff were generally very friendly.

Minor points - the music at the pool was the same song on repeat all day every day; not enough sun umbrellas at the pool; having to pay for every drink separately rather than creating a tab or charging to the room; staff a little too eager to clear away food & drinks; we had bought a nice bottle of wine elsewhere but were not allowed to bring this into the hotel, we had to leave it in our car in the sun which ruined it.

Surely, this was an unforgettable experience. All of the hotel facilities are thought through and easy to use. We greatly enjoyed breakfasts, seaside facilities, splendid pools and SPA.

There are two issues that worsened our experience. First and the most important of all is the loud sound of the doors being closed (or I'd rather say shut) in building Y. From early in the morning hotel guests started leaving their rooms shutting their doors, and every time we woke up from the clash. I suppose there are modern engineering technologies that can ensure a door closes smoothly and silent. Second, when checked in our balcony was not clean at all, also one outdoor chair was broken. It should be noted, that hotel staff fixed everything very quickly after our call to the reception.

We chose Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea to spend our long holidays, and they were truly relaxing. The stay was amazing and felt like a dream. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and have a balcony, facing the Dead Sea. There are also many pools to choose from – family friendly or adults only, as well as direct access to the Dead Sea. In line with the legendary Jordanian hospitality, all of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the delicious food served at the breakfast and also at the dinner table. The waiters of the food court were doing an amazing job, we especially appreciated The Grill and Chopstiks staff, as these are the ones we went to the most. As animal lovers, we also highly appreciated having cats in the resort. Many of them enjoyed being pet. :) Every evening it was possible to enjoy the entertainment – a little band and also a belly dancer, who has wonderful costumes. Our trip to Amman and back to the hotel with Mr. Ali, the driver, was very smooth, he knew all the shortcuts and took us from one sight to another in no time. We also got a Dead Sea treatment at the Zara Spa and it was amazing! We highly recommend this unique experience. We really want to thank personally Mr. Sameer and Ms. Emma, who gave us a wonderful treatment and a truly relaxing massage. One of the best we’ve ever had! Also, a big thank you to the receptionist, Mr. Ahmad S., who gave us an introductory tour in the spa and explained everything well. Also, thank you to the Director of Rooms, Mr. Mohammed T., it was an honor to meet you.

There were flies next to the pool.

Wonderful resort on the Dead Sea. Hotel is beautiful, really lovely common areas and rooms, great facilities. Staff were lovely throughout the resort, particularly Ahmed at the reception desk who was very helpful. Facilities all excellent, nice private access to the Dead Sea itself, with lovely pool areas away from the beach. Zara Spa was great. Food really good across the different restaurants, particularly the Breakfast, and nice spots for a drink/shisha as well. Very relaxing way to end our holiday in Jordan.

Bit tricky with the booking system for the Spa, but no real complaints.

This hotel is incredibly beautiful, but what made our stay really special was the people working here - Mohammed at reception was the best human. He made us feel like old friends from the moment we walked in. He gave us a beautiful room, helped us at length when we needed help with a flight change, and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. Khalid down at the infinity pool also went so out of his way to get to know us, make us laugh and share his love of his home. It was a really rare and beautiful experience from a hotel of this size. Jordanian hospitality at its finest. Thank you!

The Italian restaurant wasn’t great and INCREDIBLY expensive for the quality, but the Lebanese restaurant was incredible

The location is good and the service is also good.

Unfortunately, there were levels of guests below the level that suits you, and they were swimming in clothes that are not intended for the pool. I have not seen such guests in hotels at the level of the Movenpick Hotel, such as the Kempinski Hotel, especially the strict religious dress. I hope that your hotel chooses guests in a better way because most of my friends and family want to go to the Kempinski Hotel for this specific reason, and their number is not small. I apologize for mentioning the name of another hotel competing with you in this email, but my love and belonging to the Movenpick Hotel is what made me send this email to you. Thank you.

The resort feels like an authentic Jordanian village, with stunning architecture, infinity pools, and great bars and restaurants. The breakfast was incredible, with a huge selection. Swimming in the Dead Sea was a unique experience, made even better by friendly, attentive lifeguards. The entire staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and engaging. A special thanks to Silva and Sameer at Zara Spa—the salt scrub, mud bath, and massage were exceptional. The spa’s top-class facilities and professionalism made it a true highlight. A perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and authentic Jordanian hospitality. Highly recommended!

I like this Hotel style the most. Buildings, atmosphere. All is unique and give you wonderful experience. Receptionists are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. We were lucky to be upgraded from the standard room to the Nebo room with peaceful garden view. We were impressed by there SPA Zara! Such an amazing facilities they have! The most gorgeous pool view is inside of the SPA. Day pass to it is free of you purchase any treatment. SPA manager is very good 👍 We enjoyed our stay a lot and were feeling upset that we can’t stay a bit longer, as one night is definitely not enough for this place. A big thanks for the cat’s feeding stations around hotel. It was my pleasure to see how you take care of the animals with love and kindness 🥰🙏🏻

Rooms and washrooms need to be a bit renovated

I had the pleasure of staying at the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea, the hotel is located in a truly unique and stunning setting, with breathtaking views of the Dead Sea, offering guests an unparalleled sense of relaxation and tranquility. One of the highlights was the hotel’s luxurious spa, where I enjoyed a variety of treatments that were both relaxing and rejuvenating. What really set this hotel apart, however, was the exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was warm, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. If you're looking for a luxurious, peaceful retreat with incredible amenities and service, the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea is an absolute must-visit.

We were impressed by the architecture and outdoor areas of the hotel. The hotel is really big and you can find many services inside; hence you may need to walk quite a bit from place to place, and there are also golf carts going around to carry guests. We got upgraded and our room was also really spacious. Service was overall very good and friendly, but sometimes felt a bit stiff/unnecessarily formal. Breakfast food quality and options were amazing and the breakfast area is also really nice. We loved the outdoor patio where several restaurants are located, where you can have shisha, food or drinks while enjoying an evening show and sitting next to 2000 year old olive trees. The different pools were also really nice (downsides are the closing times and we encountered lots of flies during our visit in November, apparently common before the first rains arrive) and so was the private beach, with convenient access to the Dead Sea.
