The surrounding environment was beautiful. Good breakfast and great interior sauna and pool.

Room wasn't cleaned during stay except if asked . The outside sauna beside the lake could be only booked for groups because too expensive to pay individually. The hotel could propose a way/tool for hotel guests to pre book as individuals and if enough guests interested the cost could be splitted between individuals.

Excellent location on the shore of Sääksjärvi lake. We were on a bike trip and we could store the bikes inside during our two nights stay. Simple, but clean room. Good TV. Great sauna and swimming pool. Breakfast ok with everything what at least we usually need, fruits could be more and better quality. Superbe surrounding allowing for a nice walk.

WiFi does not work in the room. It is a pity that the restaurant is not open for dinner, although understandable given the fact that there were not too many guests at least during our stay. Good working service from two restaurants nearby that bring the food to the hotel

This place was a teal find. Apparently, in the past, it was owned by a giant labour union and used for conferences and workshops......and that is what is looks like a big, extremely well equipped conference venue. Under new ownership now and looking for a new model it is a wonderful good value place to stay. The welcome was wonderful, the lake, sauna? indoor pool, pool table......just a great place.

We enjoyed plenty of fresh and clean air and wild blueberries while taking a walk along the paths under tall pine trees surrounding the facilities, dip in the refreshing waters of the Sääksi Lake, relaxing in the warmth of the sauna and beautifully lit swimming pool with views of the pine trees, quiet space, good food, spacious suite, and extra comfortable beds.

Very nice location, built originally in 1950*s gives a nice relaxed and spacious layout to everything. Large parking, very helpful staff, renovated sauna, swimming pool, decent gym and amazing surroundings made my stay just perfect. I liked especially that the breakfast was served early. It was very good too.

The location is great. Near the lakeside. Breakfast is included, which is a nice addition. Lots of parking spaces are available. There's also a sauna right on the beach. Lots of fish in the lake if you're into fishing.

If you have a baby in a stroller you need to walk all the way around for about a kilometer because there are only stairs available to reach the beach. The beds are a bit too soft. There could be more items at breakfast. Pancakes were available for only two days. Price is a bit high.

Fabulous 70s themed venue - we loved the original retro style and peaceful stunning location.

Dining options available however our visit was late season therefore understandable evening meals were not an option.

The most peaceful stay I ever had. One with nature. No modern day distraction. The pure basics, clean, well maintained and with a very accommodating staff.

The rooms and facilities are very basic. So don't look for a five star Hilton resort. This place has a beauty of it's own. It holds the atmosphere and value of a long lost time. It brings you close to nature and gives you something more valuable than silk sheets and caviar.

Beautiful lake. Beautiful view from windows in higher floors.Simple nice Comfortable room. Very calm. Pool was great, cold but fantas view.

Easier use of tennis court.

Excellent location, very nice welcome. The nature around is one of an experience.
