Loved the refined and upscale decor that had a Winston Churchill-esq feel. This was a 4+ hotel through and through! The front staff was also refined and organized and the little finishings for arrival were a pleasant treat (candy and short story) the art and historical presence was delightful and I wish we stayed longer to experience more of what the hotel and the surroundings had to offer. The pictures do not do this hotel justice as it is even better in person. The customer service was easily 5+ star, perhaps better than actual 5 star places I’ve stayed. we experienced gentle, genuine, and warmth from the staff that we (esp. Canadians) enjoy and truly appreciate at home and more importantly abroad. I highly recommend staying here if Milan is your destination or if you’re catching a flight or are traveling all over Italy like us. Also, it was a great bang for your buck and the breakfast was awesome with a great latte maker. It was very easily accessible to major roads/highway. they also had abundance parking free or 6Euro a day depending on where you decide to park. it was 10 mins to the airport and a gas station across the street to fill up for our car return. It was only a 15 drive to the Milan Duomo and 5 mins to the main city.

Kind Staff: One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptionally kind and helpful staff. Their attentiveness and warmth made our stay much more comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast: Although the breakfast offerings were simple, everything served was fresh and well-prepared. It provided a good start to our day without any unnecessary frills.

Room Size: The rooms, unfortunately, were on the smaller side. Bathroom Condition: The bathrooms appeared to be quite old and in need of renovation. Sound Isolation: We noticed poor sound isolation within the rooms.. Location: While the hotel’s location in San Donato is convenient for those looking to stay in that area, it is not ideal for travelers whose primary focus is exploring Milan.

No kettle in room but had read this on other reviews so took our own travel kettle. Staff happily provided us with cups etc. Minibar in room but not included in price. No real atmosphere in the bar area but plenty of bars / restaurants just round the corner. Air con but still warm in room.

This hotel is a beautiful, well kept property which felt like a hidden gem. The rooms were clean, well decorated, and the sweets on the pillow were a nice touch. We were there to visit friends in San Donato but it’s also a nice spot off the beaten path if you’re looking for a more affordable option to stay outside of Milan. The staff were friendly and helpful. Secure parking is available just behind the hotel. We will definitely return

We had a family room. The second bed is horrible. You can not pretend that is a bed (room 308). The breakfast box was disappointing. Water, juice, crackers with marmelade, apple and some liquid breakfast substance.

Generally the rooms aren’t very nice. Sparsely furnished. And generally smaller than expected. I tried three in my 4 days stay. Even the one I stayed in longest had a noice from the bar next, as a problem.

Room was comfortable, excellent bed and bathroom offered sufficient comfort. Great breakfast, good start before we continued our journey. We were happy to find out that the hotel has a private and closed-off car park at the back (at a small fee).

I really like the ambiance, and also the scent of the room and hotel in general. It feels so relaxing and really the space is huge. The staffs are so friendly, I really felt relaxed, and enjoyed my stay. There are also a lot of nearby good cafes and restaurants. It is not that far to M3 to reach Milan center.

Convenient location next to my business destination just a few blocks away. It has a convenient parking lot alas not covered in this day of frequent hail storms. The room was OK with a reasonably good bathroom. Restaurants and the bar stays open until fairly late.

A modern hotel built to satisfy the needs of the Italian Oil company ENI the hotel that sits facing the yet to be opened monstrous new ENI building.

Hotel Santa Barbara is outstandingly good. I stayed there with my family on 29/12/2022 in a one bedroom apartment and we felt very comfortable. Room is large and comfy, with 2 smart tv and a large private balcony. The hotel staff is impeccably mannered, polite, professional and last but not least well dressed just as you'd expect in Milan :) There is a secure, spacious, gated parking lot in the backyard. Surrounding area San Donato is newly developed with modern residential and business buildings, very safe and pieceful. M3 San Donato is 15 minutes on foot away and takes you to Il Doumo directly in 25 minutes. Within 10 minutes on foot there is a large discount supermarket Essalunga and a cosy trattoria Nonna Emilia. Eni gas station across the street. Breakfast was rich in sweet pastries and fruit and very tasty. Outstanding value for the money! Highly recommended for family and business travelers alike!

Unfortunately no cheese at breakfast. This is my only remark because I personally love cheese so much. Un jour sans fromage est come un jour sans soleil ! :) Perhaps this has been occasional though, I don't know :)
