I recently stayed four nights at the Star Hotels Business Palace with my husband and my husband's brother and his wife. First off, the location is absolutely primo. It is outside the city center, but a two minute walk to the metro and a straight shot to the Duomo. This was incredibly convenient and made the whole trip a breeze. The rooms were spacious, clean, and utterly silent. There were two conferences at the hotel while I was there and breakfast was busy, but once you shut the door to your room, the place was silent. I slept great. No slamming doors. No chatter. No elevator noise. It was lovely They also have two pillows per person on the bed. No surprise there. But, in a moment of genius, one pillow is flat and the other soft and fluffy. I love soft and fluffy. My husband likes flat. We were both happy. And this is intentional, as there is a pillow menu on the bedside stand. The breakfast is also a standout. Two types of eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruit, bread, pastries, sweets, juice, a machine to make coffee however you like it. We all looked forward to the breakfast. It was a great way to start the day and kept us fueled until lunch.

The only annoyance was the lack of towels and soap. There was only one bath towel the first two days and there was no soap in the sink soap dispenser. I had soap, so I just kept moving it between the shower and the sink, so it was not a big deal. But the situation was never corrected even after asking multiple times, so that was strange.

I had complementary parking which was a pleasant surprise for me. The accommodation was good in two separate bedrooms, and the beds were very comfortable. While the room was a little bit "outdated" and could benefit from a refresh, overall I was happy with the choice for my family.

The variety of breakfast choices could be improved, with simple aspects like more vegetables or fried eggs (instead of scrambled eggs). Also more guidance for what to do in the city is always welcomed for tourists like us.

Very clean hotel, The staff was very attentive to the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms. Towels changed daily, impeccable, the minibar up to date, everything was according to expectations. The position of the hotel is right next to the metro station, which was very appropriate at the end of the days of walking. Breakfast was ok, the fact that you can opt for breakfat or not seemed like a very good thing. All in all it was a wonderful experience to stay in this hotel.

The room was spacious, with a cute coffee table and all necessary tea and coffee utensils; the bathroom was big and clean, too. They were cleaning the room every day, which was great. There was an exquisite seafood restaurant next to the hotel - La Plancia. If you arrive late, this is a place to have dinner at. Hotel staff were all very friendly - always greeting us on our way in or out

Thin walls/ceilings - we could hear our loud neighbors most of the time. Also, the hotel's somewhat far from the city center, which is offset by its proximity to a subway station, however (M3 line, Porto di Mare, just €2.20 per person from city center). The safety deposit box was out of order - we asked to fix it, but to no avail

Good location, despite the fact it is further away from a center, there is a Metro 3 line, Porto di Mare station couple of minutes away. We stayed in a spacious family room, air conditioned, two separate bedrooms, comfortable beds - all was clean and tidy, though the room already required a renovation due to the old furniture, materials. Breakfast was rich enough (stayed for only 1 night), offering both sweet and regular European buffet breakfast (incl. freshly squeezed orange juice). Reception front desk is competent, polite and hospitable.

It was the last day of our 10 day trip across Italy and it was perfect! Thank you.

For me it is very convenient because it is just 1 metro stop from work. I also enjoy the nice aperitif they have inside the hotel. It is very rich, I don’t need to go out and it’s starting at 6PM therefore it’s perfect… I come tired from travelling and work, 1 beer some snacks from the buffet and I’m done… I can go in my room Watch TV and sleep.

The area around at night, as I’m alone I prefer not go out by myself at night, but I enjoy the nice aperitif they have.

Location close to metro, comfy, good space in family room, clean, kind service

Saturday night there was a night clug or similar on the same side as our family room. The party lasted till 6am and the noiselevel was high

The room was very clean, it was more than enough for 1 person, the location was good, the metro station is 5 minutes walking distance. Transportation to touristic places is possible with a single metro.. I recommend it, if I come to Milan, I will stay here again.

As someone who travels a lot, I sometimes bring food from outside to the hotel and if it is not heated, I have it heated at the hotel. But they were no help here, I didn't like it!

Excellent size rooms, friendly/helpful staff. Located on metro line so 10 to 15 mins to Duomo.

Breakfast could have been more polished for a 4 star hotel eg freshly cooked eggs. Hotel offered parking for €30 for 24 hours but failed to mention free parking on side street outside.

The room was super spacious equipped with a coffee station, bathrobe and slippers. The hotel was really nice and the staff were really professional. The receptionist even helped me while waiting for my taxi in the early morning. It’s a really nice service to those who are travelling on business

The location is away from the centre, but it is great as a transit hotel as it is a 10 minute drive away from Linate Airport
