The hostel has a good location, being fairly far from the city center, but close to the underground station. The quiet nearby area is also fairly good, with quite a few restaurants and shops. The downstairs restaurant is very good. The staff are hospitable and helpful.

The only real problem was that the bathrooms attached to rooms were often quite dirty and wet from use. Thankfully, there are two common bathrooms in the corridors, which do not normally see much use and are quite clean.

After landing in Milan a foreign land for us, we were so lost. The moment we entered Madama Hostel we felt at home. It felt so great when the person offered us water as soon as we entered and thank you to the staff showing us our dorm and how to go about Madama, it felt so comfortable. The breakfast was great and the little kitchen they have for the people staying in the hostel is so cozy. Best hostel in our whole of Italy stay.

It was great! Breakfast was included in the price and they give you a 10% discount on lunch and dinner. The food was delicious and affordable. Also the room was very spacious, tidy, clean and comfortable. The staff were super nice and helpful. If I ever go back to Milan I will surely repeat my stay :)

The only trouble I had was that the check-in was only available from 14.00 and I arrived earlier for an event, but the staff were really nice and they kept my luggage in a locked room while I was out and offered me a bathroom to wash up.

The people running the hostel are very friendly and helpful. They quickly got me settled in after a very long and exhausting flight, which was greatly appreciated. The restaurant/cafe has plenty of options available at reasonable prices, and breakfast was included with the room.

The door from the dormitory room to the attached bathroom was damaged and not lockable, hence using the toilet was mildly uncomfortable with the idea that anyone could burst in at any moment (despite a sign being placed on the door). This was presumably a temporary situation awaiting maintenance.

Easy to reach, just minutes away from Lodi TIBB metro station. Very friendly staff that is 24/24 present. Really nice bar and terrace with creative and lively atmosphere and a lot of nice enthousiastic people (travellers and locals). Breakfast was excellent, along with very nice Italian cappucino.

Sleeping in a room with 8 (top side of a bunk bed) was new to me. Didn't get as much sleep as I hoped, even though I got some free earplugs when I checked in :-). Mattresses were rather firm (hard). But considering I worked in the mattrass industry for a few years, maybe I'm too critical.

Superb location just a 15 min metro ride from the dome and city center. The dorm room was clean, bathroom included and there was sufficient storage available and some hooks to store coats etc. Breakfast was offered to me and you order by a multiple choice sheet, which allows them to reduce waste too. It was a very lively place, many people were outside on the terrace, both for breakfast as at night.

We stayed at the Madama hostel&bistrot for two nights. The location was very nice, only a few minute walk from the metrostation. The area was a bit more quiet which we also enjoyed. The staff was amazing and eager to help with anything. The six beds female dorm was clean and cozy, the beds were good and the bathroom pleasant. All in all a great experience, would recommend to anyone!

Nothing really comes to mind. The”takeaway breakfast “ was a nice touch. The only thing I would change is that I would have liked a croissant rather than cake.

I stayed in a dorm and then a private room, and both were super nice, quiet, and comfortable. The staff go above and beyond to be helpful and welcome you. Breakfast was amazing and they even had things like vegan muffins. Wifi was excellent. There is also a CrossFit gym next door where you can do drop-ins.

It's quite a big place, and the ground floor is a restaurant/bar which is open to the public, which makes it a bit hard to meet other travelers because there are always so many people everywhere (and it's very loud). There's a nice outdoor seating area but it's a shame that they allow smoking because it's basically a big cloud of smoke most of the time.

The room was very clean and the staff was lovely! The staff even let me store my luggage after check out until my flight left later in the evening! The drinks at the bistro were reasonably priced, too, and I liked that guests got a discount. I definitely recommend it

It was a bit noisy on Saturday night, with the karaoke going until around 1am. Other than that, no issues
