Hotel Five is a small boutique hotel that occupies the ground floor and first floor of the building at the address where it is located. The staff is extremely friendly, accommodating, understanding and always in a good mood. The hotel rooms are slightly smaller, but they contain everything you need for a pleasant stay in Milan. The rooms are clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are tidy and clean. The hotel is not far from the metro line station, which makes it easier to plan departures and get to the desired part of the city very quickly. The breakfast at the hotel is good, with a slightly smaller selection. Coffee during breakfast is prepared in the moment when you get there and it is excellent and fresh.

Although the breakfast in the hotel is quite solid and satisfactory when it comes to one or two nights stay, but when you are there for a week, the same and modest selection of dishes every day turns into a disadvantage. Just to take into consideration - There is a pub in the street in front of the hotel, so before the weekend it can be noisy until late at night. The positive side is that the window insulation is very good so it is easier if the windows are closed and it is not hot outside.

The location was perfect! Just a few meters from the Metro Station and tram lines. Plus there's a nearby Gelatteria and Mcdonalds (for visitors like us who arrived and checked in a little bit late and needed something fast to eat.) Breakfast was simple but filling. Overall, we would still recommend it and would gladly stay here for our next visit.

It was a little bit loud in the evenings tho because of the Irish pub across the Street but fortunately we were just too tired from exploring that we just didn't care anymore. 😂 The low/ weak water pressure from the shower was a little bit problematic too.

The staff were brilliant - so friendly and helpful. They couldn't have been nicer. Loved the coffee and the room was huge. Also PERFECT location for the spa and just a couple of stops from the Duomo on the tube.

I thought everything was great. The breakfast could have had slightly more options, but we did come down at 9:55am when it was winding down, so that's probably our fault in fairness. But here were still eggs and toast, fruit and fruit juices. And delicious coffee.

We stayed here for 7 nights. My sister arrived earlier but they allowed her to checked in immediately and offered her drink and croissant. The accommodation was good as expected. The breakfast was good. The staff at the breakfast and reception always nice and warm welcome. Mohamed's service was exceptional. He always offer assistant regarding transportation, city tour, and answering all our requests.

they do not provide sandwich (lunch bags) for visitors who have to leave the hotel very early in the morning before the breakfast starts.

Very friendly, helpful and nice staff! Great location : metro 2 mins away, restaurants around ( for veggie people and meat eaters) , shop, walking distance for important things to see in Milano.

We are not used to sweet breakfast so we were missing some veggie, at least tomato. Otherwise was good :)

I loved the location, the staff were super friendly and very helpful, I liked the breakfast and the room was a good size and spotless.Even though the room was overlooking a very busy Irish pub, you could not hear any noise late at night...it was very well sound proofed

Location in Porto Romano was great. Staff very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The rooms are small but met our needs perfectly.

Noisy at night being across from the Irish Pub, until quite late. Mattresses too firm for our liking. Pillows are hard and flat, not supportive of your neck at all.

Nice hotel. Location is good, there is a metro and nice reaturant near by. Room had a cool window like a balcony.

Not stabil hot water and I accidentally saw. Bed sheets and pillows need to be upgrated. During breakfast you need to ask the stuff for tea and coffee all the time and if there are a lot of people then it is time consuming.

Ideally located close to the public parking space Medaglie D'Oro and the metro station Porta Romana from where you can reach the Duomo in 10mn. The Thermes bath are 5mn away also. Staff is really friendly professional and helpful.

This review is on behalf of my sisters who I’ve met for the weekend in Milano. We had such a great experience here with Hotel Five. Free car ride from the airport was included in the price. Getting here and during our stay the staff members were very kind and helpful making our stay even better. Hot breakfast is included in the price with fresh pastries baked each morning, bacon, scrambled, fried or boiled egg, ham and cheese, cereals, juices and delicious cappuccino. The hotel is at a great location just a corner away from Porta Romana metro station and other main tram lines. Very easy to reach the different sites by public transportation. There are multiple restaurants nearby (note: dinner is only from 19:00 maybe 19:30 and reservations are recommended) and there’s a gelatiere in the same block of the hotel for all those with sweet tooth. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel.
