Breakfast portions were great! Easy and straightforward check in. Location is pretty great, very close to the metro.

The lockers for storage were metal boxes that had to be slid out from under the bed and back in, as opposed to convenient drawers. The metal bed frames were so loud with any accidental movement against them.

Super clean, consistent hot water (not a guarantee in Italian hostels), super caring and kind staff. Staff tries to help you solve any issues you encounter. Events are fun and have good variety. I’d definitely recommend it if staying in Milan. If you have any special concerns just let the staff know ahead of time and I’m sure you can figure out a solution.

If your on a lower floor the music can be heard but not so much that ear plugs easily cancel it out.

Some travellers don’t have the same respect as I’d hoped and wake you at early hours of the night, however that’s just people and the hostel itself if you don’t mind that is excellent.

best hostel I've probably ever stayed in for the following reasons: good value, near a metro station so doesn't take long to get to Duomo in the centre, each bed has its own safe would you believe, good WiFi, laundry facilities, luggage cages in rooms and secure lockers before and after check out. Also free welcome alcoholic drink, good value good and drink in the communal area and stacks of free activities such as pasta making, walk to the park and picnic, tote bag painting. can't think of a better hostel that I've stayed in actually

Stayed at this hostel recently and I'm really impressed! The perfect balance between socializing and personal space - they organize fun afternoon activities where you can meet other travelers, but there's no pressure if you want some quiet time instead. The facilities are top-notch: spotless rooms and really comfortable beds. Staff makes a huge difference here - they're super friendly and always ready to help or chat. Location is unbeatable, just 2 minutes from the metro station. As someone who stayed alone in a hostel for the first time, I couldn't have picked a better place. The safe and welcoming atmosphere completely put me at ease. Between the great experience and fantastic location, I'm already looking forward to my next stay!

I stayed in an 8-bed dorm mix room at Yellow Square. I had breakfast included and would highly recommend it. It's a bang for the buck. The portion is huge and the taste is decent for the money (you can choose between 6 options on the menu with a cup of juice a piece of cake and a coffee included) The hostel has a nice kitchen with all the utensils and a fridge to cook food. The "Conad" chain market is just a 5-minute walk away. They had a variety of gigs and programs each night, like Karaoke, Pub Quiz, etc. to keep you busy at night. The staff were all helpful and friendly. I forgot their names, I only remember Luka (I had a lot of alcohol there, not ganna lie!). They were super sweet.

This place is larger than you think! And I didn’t realize it until the final day of my stay how much this one property has to offer! The bed was comfortable, staff extremely friendly and helpful, and property was very inspiring and well maintained.

The beds are made of a metal material and a few of the sections were worn out I suppose - so it would creek with any slight movement. So in the night time especially, I was always worried about making noise and waking my roommates up. But I guess that’s a personal problem. But if it can be addressed, more power to your guys!

I really enjoyed this day at the yellow square hostel in Milan. The location was quite central and you’re just three stops away from the Duomo, a supermarket that is very near. The hostel offers all you need from a kitchen to a storage room to common rooms and the sleeping rooms are also very tidy and well cleaned up. Staff is super nice and friendly and they organize some events every day which is very cool.

What I have missed are some curtains before the bed so you can have a bit more privacy within your batch in the shared rooms.

The beds were decent, the drinks were plentiful but what I appreciated about YellowSquare was the spaces they provided for hostel guests. You could hang out in the main bar to meet people, outside in their terrace yard for fresh air, or downstairs in the common space to get away from everything a bit. And never did you feel unwelcome. The events they organise offer nice opportunities for you to meet other guests as well, though they could get a bit loud. I stayed in the top floor so I never had issues with noise though.

The lockers were unfortunately very limited in size, they could only fit in an average sized backpack and not a carry-on suitcase. Also the bed frames were made of aluminium which meant they were quite noisy when you bumped into them.

* The private room was spacious clean and comfy. AC was strong in the room * The sunset stroll/picnic is a really nice concept, i liked it. So is the Karaoke/ free pasta night. All in all the activities were fun so is the happy hour drinks * They have good facilities if you wanna take a call in quiet and work remotely * Location is super close to the Porta Romana metro station thats well connected, 15 min to Duomo. Also plenty of supermarkets around and places to grab coffee in the morning * i came late at night, the 24h reception is very handy

* Once crowded, the AC in the reception area isn’t strong enough and in summer it will get HOT * A bit far from the Malpensa airport, if it’s late at night there might not be a connection metro. Check it out beforehand
