BREAKFAST IS EXCELLENT VALUE, WIDE SELECTION AND OPEN UNTIL 10.30AM

This was a very pleasant hotel. The room was spacious and clean. we were on the ground floor so was quite noisy at night, though, and I needed earplugs to sleep. We were given a room with a large bathtub, which was a nice touch. There was a convenient “do not disturb” button next to the bed, and a water cooler with cold water in the hallway. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The furniture in the room was a bit old-fashioned, but everything was in good condition and very clean.

I had contacted the hotel in advance to request a kettle in the room, but there wasn’t one when we arrived — I had to ask for it again. When we got the kettle, we were only given paper cups, and there was no tea or coffee provided, which seemed unusual for a 4-star hotel. The bathroom had very poor ventilation — after taking a shower, the humidity stayed in the room for a long time if the door was closed.

Location was great. Within walking distance to many of the museums, shopping district and cafés/restaurants. Tram outside hotel and Metro and other tram line roughly 200m away to bring you to San Siro etc. Glu Free coeliac friendly café a few hundred metres away was a bonus.

Bed wasn't the most comfortable.

The location is great. It took us 2-3 days to really appreciate the location. Too bad it's so hard to get reliable information, well, from everyone... but this is Milan. The city is great but you have to get it on your own. Breakfast is excellent and so is the cleanliness. The room turned out to be much more comfortable than we expected.

It would be nice if the hotel helped with the luggage, as there are stairs from the street and no elevator.

Every member of the staff were warm and helpful. I can't remember all the names but Yeya (?spelling) was exceptional. The man who helped with the luggage and ran errands always wore a smile, no matter how heavy the bags were and the maids who did the room every day did an excellent job. The location is also excellent. The number 24 tram stops outside the door and takes you to the Duomo - where all the action is - in 4 or 5 stops. If you want to stay local that works too with some great cafes, restaurants and shops of all kinds.

The breakfast, which I believe cost 19 euros extra, appeared dull and unimaginative. Eggs were precooked and any warm food looked unappetising. However, as it wasn't included in the room rate you could choose to participate or not. The exterior and public rooms of the hotel don't live up to its standards. A bit brown, a bit too much leather around - a bit aggressively masculine in tone - but as the reception staff is very welcoming, this ceases to matter very quickly.

The hotel is situated in central Milan. You can walk to the cathedral or take the metro. A metro station is close by. The hotel is clean and though a little old everything works and looks fine. Thinking of the climate you should not demand every hotel to redecorate when it is really not necessary. I like the classic decor made from real wood. Staff was very friendly and nice. The breakfast was good. Remember to order cappuccino from the waiter, if you want it. Our room had an extender cord with extra sockets for phones etc. You can turn the aircondition on or off and regulate temperature, it is a little loud, so we turned it off in the night. Would gladly return.

Everything was all right. Nothing stood out as exceptionally good, but no problems whatsoever.

You know this is a great little hotel with great parking even for a larger car. We really didn’t know where to stay to get access quickly to Milan’s Duomo and the centre and this was really a short fun family tram ride away. We could’ve walked but we wanted to get on the tram. There is an incredible pizza place around the corner which the reception advised about which probably has the best pizzas in the world. The rooms were actually huge more like apartments in our Caisse and we didn’t really need two for our family of five. We were very pleasantly surprised about this so well done to the team.

Our room was ready before time. Very kind staff, and very smooth check inn. Room was perfect for our size.

Rooms has thin walls. We could hear a man next door, speaking until 2 am.

I was negatively surprised by the fact that even as hotel customer i had to pay an amount of Euro30 for using the hotel parking. Not a good marketing.

I like my stay at this hotel and do not have any complains. The location was nice and quiet, with a perfect walking distance to center and Duomo (around 25 mins of walk, or you could take short metro ride). There were several nice bakeries around and big Carrefour juts next to it, if it is needed. The hotel itself had quite a class: welcoming staff, good and well-equipped rooms, everything was clean. The only thing I missed a bit in my room was a kettle or coffee machine, but that was not a big deal. The best thing about this hotel is that it was relatively cheaper than other. For my next visit to Milan I for sure will consider it again!

The only thing that disappointed me in the hotel, is that wall-mounted shower gel and shampoo dispensers were badly engineered and would not work for the most of my stay (despite having content inside). But to be fair I didn't tell anything to reception as I had my own soaps with me. Would worth if they replace them with something higher quality.
