I've done a lot of travel around Vietnam, this was my fifth trip to the wonderful country, the Ninh Binh Nature Homestay has by far surpassed anywhere I have stayed. The quiet part of town, laid back atmosphere amazing mountainous back drop all make for a special feeling. The rooms with their high ceilings, beautiful big bath tubs, solid timber fittings and furniture, comfortable, huge beds and all in amongst a spotless, beautiful garden! So so clean, quiet and comfortable! And our wonderful host delighted us with the best morning coffee and a tasty, filling traditional breakfast with fresh fruit! Everything about this place blew my mind. I'll be back every year for the rest of my days 🙏

Everything was great about this property. Situated in a very calm and friendly village where everyone says hello. We loved it so much that we decided to extend our stay. Owned by a lovely little family. The host is so kind and attentive. She gave us great recommendations on things to see in the neighborhood and took care of private transportation from her stay to Hanoi. So helpful. Our room was very comfortable, immaculate and decorated with detail and taste. We had a variety of choices for breakfast and each were amazing every day. This host is just a few minutes away from Van Long Nature Reserve. We took a 3 hr boat tour there which was amazing. Rented her motorbike and visited all the villages around We will definitely return to stay there on our next visit Thank you to the host Phuong!

Lovely stay. Immaculate room with comfy beds and real character. Surrounded by plants, including in the bathroom. Host was delightful and arranged all our taxis and gave recommendations. The homestay is in a small village down a back street with very minimal tourists so it really feels like a proper local experience. All the locals were so friendly and said hi. It's a 5min walk to Van Long nature reserve which is a non touristy and probably better (albeit it much shorter) version of the Trang An / Tam Coc boat tours.

Lots of mosquitoes - we resolved this with aircon / lavender/ Jungle Formula (theres no mosquito nets). As it's not a touristy area, there's limited meal options so best to pre-plan / take that into consideration. This is NOT the fault of the homestay so didn't mark it down, but again worth factoring in... the village had its electricity off for daylight hours (not sure if for repairs or if this is often) meaning no WiFi, hot water/showers or lights.

The room is really Nice and the bed is confortable. The location is very convenient if you're going to Van Long. It's a bit farther from Ninh Binh, check location depending on your plans. It was a bit noisy (dog barking at night and neighbor using chainsaw from 6am onward) but it might just be a bad timing and was okay with airplugs. The owner lent me a bike and I did a very scenic ride. Also the boat tour is very nice. On my way to the homestay I've been to Hang Múa cave, Tràng An and Baí Ðính pagoda which I believe is a nice itinerary to visit the area.

Ninh Binh Nature Homestay was beautiful, clean, peaceful and quiet. The property offers free bike rental which was ideal for exploring the local area! It’s also perfect to visit the Van long nature reserve and watch the sunset over the west. The breakfast and coffee was delicious and Phuong the host is very kind and friendly! I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for some peace, quiet and to be close to nature.

Beautifully place! Amazing family! It's a bit hard to find the place, even with the location pin, it's behind the school (there's wall painting on the wall) and then there will be blue signs. The food was so good! We ordered dinner and breakfast over there for the entire 3 days! We rented a motorbike from them, and the lady gave us a list of great places to see. The room is big, clean and beautiful! Great shower! Comfy bed! 5 minutes walk to the Nature reserve, the boat trip was very good!

Beautiful and clean stay with full plants and garden. Nicely done. Very friendly host and had an awesome breakfast. Host helps a lot with questions and even assists to plan the trips. Will surely visit again. Also so many restaurants around. Little far from the tourist place so its very quiet and peaceful. If you want to experience an actual village and serene feel this is where you might want to be.

Might be difficult to locate the place. The place marked in booking.com is not accurate. But once you get there you will experience an amazing stay.

We arrive at a hot day. The air con took quite long to cool the room down (~2 hours). (Owner tried to contact us for our arrival time to turn on air con beforehand but I was busy) We did not notice the facility is quite far from Hoa Lu - centre of Ninh Binh

The owner is a very helpful and nice lady, I arrived late and was offered a soup so that I don't have to wander around. There was also a delicious homemade breakfast, different Vietnamese dishes every day. The room was spacious and comfortable, with shower and bathtub. Also, bike rental was included. I totally recommend staying there.

Tucked down a little quiet side street in a little village off the tourist route this homestay is lovely. Such a friendly atmosphere. Very comfortable beds and super clean and lovely touches like fresh flowers in the bedrooms and fresh fruit.
