What a smashing place! The location is to-die-for stunning! A genuine paradise. Our kids' triple room was impressive, or so we thought until we saw our deluxe riverside bungalow - WOW! I'm lucky enough to have stayed in some seriously fancy hotels around the world, and this room was up there with the best of them. And to think they often costed ten times as much. Here at Trang An you get the Four Seasons experience for Travelodge prices. I really would recommend spending the little extra needed for one of these rooms. Staff are a smiley, friendly and cheerful bunch. All the sights you want to see are easily reachable on the free bikes. Cycling here felt very safe. The roads are wide and quiet. Trang An village itself, with umpteen restaurant and bar options, take about 15 mins to walk to as you have to double back to the main road to reach the bridge.

It can take a while for food and drinks to arrive, but maybe that's just a sign to chill out and enjoy the surroundings :)

Best hotel I've ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived they were there to take our bags, the greenery is beautiful, and the pool and main area are so pretty and well kept. We treated ourselves to the deluxe bungalow and just wow, it's better than the pictures, it's so classically decorated and the bathroom facilities were also the best we've had. We also loved the food and drinks too, some of the best coconuts I've had and the hot pot was great. We wish we could have stayed longer, it's so beautiful being surrounded my limestone mountains and rivers as well as all the beauty gardens around which even bring lots pd butterflies and dragonflies. It's so well taken care of here and the staff are also lovely with helping us through any non hotel issue we had. Thanks so much !

Honesty nothing, and I always say in reviews when things need to be improved

We had a very nice stay and truly enjoyed spending a few days surrounded by nature. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food was absolutely amazing – every meal was a highlight. The property has a large, beautiful pool and a lovely garden full of vibrant flowers. It's a peaceful and quiet place, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Another big plus: it’s not far from local attractions and sightseeing spots – all easily reachable by car. If you love nature and are looking for a calm and restful escape, this is definitely the place to be. We enjoyed every moment!

Beautiful tranquil boutique resort.We had a poolside villa and my two teen boys had an upstairs villa. Very clean. Beds were super comfy. Staff so friendly and helpful. We travelled with 2 teens and 1 child. Required 2 separate rooms. Resort is small, so it wasn't an issue. Buffet breakfast was limited but still good. Not much surrounding the resort, approx 10 min drive to Trang An and 30 min to Tam Coc. Staff went above and beyond to organise a cake and kfc burger for my sons birthday.

Bathroom is half open to the elements. If you're not a fan of bugs l suggest you choose an upstairs room as they are fully enclosed.

We Loved how the ecolodge was nestled amongst the greenery and rocks, it was very lush and we had an instant ahhhh feeling. The team of staff were wonderfully welcoming and always so helpful. We stayed in a ground floor family room with two big beds and a bathroom that was inside/outside. The bed was very comfortable. Easy to visit places by vehicle/Grab and there are bikes to borrow but we didn’t get around to this. We enjoyed the lovely pool and food and drinks they offer. Mike upon request organised a well priced 16 seater van for our party of 9 to our next location in Ha Long Bay. Recommended.

Those uncomfortable with bugs and creatures outside may find it too much so consider how freaked out you get before booking this. We loved it!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The lodge is quietly located, but everything can be easily reached by bike (provided by the lodge for free). Cycling around is so much fun! We enjoyed coconut coffee by the pool, and every meal in the lodge’s restaurant. Food was fantastic! Rooms and facilities are great as well. They offer a lot of services for a good price, e.g. laundry, scooter rental, taxi shuttle, massages… We were able to spend our full last day at the lodge due to our night train late in the evening even though checkout was at 12. We highly recommend staying there and hope to come back one day! Thank you very much :)

It was spectacular! I could have easily spent an entire week there, being extremely relaxed and happy. It's a small tropical paradise. The room we stayed in was stunning, beautifully designed, a lot of wood furniture, a beautiful bathtub and overlooking the lake. And everything was squeaky clean! There is a great pool to use, showers outside if needed after checking-out, an open comunal space for leaving bags after check-out, scooters to rent and free bicycles. Plants on the site were incredible, especially for a big plant enthusiast like myself. The staff were incredibly helpful, sorted out anything we needed, we had a great massage there as well and both my partner and I were incredibly pleased with every service. Only had the included breakfast, which was great, lots of fresh fruit, I had pho and my partner an omlette. Classic coffee with condensed milk. We wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately it was fully booked. If we get back to Vietnam, we would love to visit this place again! Thank you for everything! We loved our stay here! You’re a 8 min bike ride away from the boat cruise, around 20min bike ride away from the viewpoint & cave. The property is beautiful and we especially loved our bungalow on the river. It felt a lot more luxurious than in the pictures and what I expected based on the price. The food at the restaurant was really good too!

Everything took very long and we felt like overall they may be understaffed. When we went to the reception to get bikes we had to wait 5 mins until finally a staff member stopped even though they kept walking by us; on the first night we waited for our drinks for dinner about 30 mins, the second night also 20 mins etc. Would be nice to add a few more sun beds & umbrellas around the pool.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this ecolodge! The property is beautifully immersed in lush greenery, surrounded by serene rivers that make the atmosphere truly peaceful and unique. The rooms are very comfortable, tastefully decorated in a charming local style that gives you a real sense of place. The service was outstanding throughout our stay – attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful. What impressed me the most was their hospitality even after check-out: after a day trip, they kindly let us use the facilities to take a shower and provided fresh towels, which was such a thoughtful touch. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape close to nature with authentic charm and excellent service, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended!
