The resort is absolutely beautiful. The remote location gives so much peace and tranquility. It is a 20 minute drive to Tam Coc as others have said, but we knew this before we booked and much preferred this to staying in town. It was lovely to spot the mountain goats from the pool. Staff were so lovely and couldn't do enough to help you. Beers were very reasonably prices at 25k each.

As others have mentioned, there is no soundproofing in the rooms so even though there are small spaces between each bungalow, you can hear everything your neighbours do. Also, as others have mentioned, the food isn't the best. Some of the cakes at breakfast were very dry. I know it's a nice resoort, but basic Viet meals are 150-200k and were not great to be honest.

Beautiful oasis out of town. So relaxing. The grounds and pool are amazing. Rooms are good but very dark not enough natural light. Staff are amazing, very helpful. Motorcycle available to rent which is a massive bonus as it is a bit out of town. Overall good experience

Also the aircon unit was outside our bed head. Bungalows are very thin walled so you can hear your neighbours taking at night. Food options a bit limited especially for vegetarian if you are staying for many days.

We loved our stay at The Goat. The individual bungalows, nestled by the mountains, with the sounds of nature all around, were divine. The pool was a generous size and a great place to relax after being out and about. The hotel is well located to get to a number of places of interest in the Ninh Binh area. It was a little off the beaten track, but well worth it - and if you don't have the energy to head out for dinner in the evening, the banh mi is delicious! The staff were all so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

We had an amazing experience at The Goat Boutique Vietnam! The remote location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, which we absolutely loved. Since we couldn’t hire a moped (no international driver’s license), we relied on taxis to get around. Long, our taxi driver, was so lovely and made traveling easy and enjoyable. The driver company the hotel works with was fantastic—so well-organized that we even booked them again later in our trip. The staff were incredible too—friendly, helpful, and their English was excellent. The breakfast selection was delicious and offered plenty of variety. Highly recommend this hidden gem for a relaxing and well-supported stay!

As a slightly older couple in our 50’s, we loved the peaceful quiet location. We had a bungalow right by the pool which we loved swimming in (floating mainly) & Viet was wonderful with the cocktails we ordered. After quite a hectic couple of weeks travelling around Vietnam, staying here was a lovely relaxing holiday. The staff are lovely and the whole vibe is very laid back. Also we were able to get laundry done at an incredibly cheap rate. We visited the Bear Sanctuary which I would highly recommend, it doesn’t come up on google searches but such a great place and amazing people working there. Spend some of your money there☺️

I hate to be negative but the food wasn’t great in the restaurant and the breakfast was obviously created on a budget. We would have been very happy to have other options which we would happily have paid for. Also, this can’t be helped but the road to the resort is bone shakingly bad, I felt very sorry for the grab drivers having to navigate this awful road but understand this is not the resorts fault.

The Goat Boutique Resort is an ok property close to all the Nim Binh attractions. The concept of a tropical refuge nestled amidst beautiful gardens is a wonderful one The decor is super fun. The food served at the hotel location was fresh and tasty.

The hotel has seen its better days. Everything is worn and outdated - from our room, to the pool, to the overgrown gardens - it all needs a refresh. It must have ben really wonderful a few years back, but it is showing its age. The games, free bicycles, pool chairs - are all dirty or moldy or falling apart. Our room was clean and met our basic needs, but the bed was super uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet had limited choices. The hotel is also in the middle of nowhere - there's really nowhere to go beyond the property gates unless you have transportation.

3 days and 2 nights was not enough. The Goat is perfect. The staff are all excellent and the setting for the resort is something out of a nat geo magazine. Nestled against the mountains with lush vegetation all around and meticulously manicured landscaping, it really does feel like you are stepping out of the busy world around you and into an oasis. The resort offers everything that you need and all of the prices are clearly marked (and quite reasonable for a resort). In addition the offer excellent massage services at a reasonable price (although the tables are a bit uncomfortable and could use better padding). I’ve taken a lot of pics and videos but they really don’t do it justice. I highly recommend you stay at the Goat, but be sure to leave some room in your schedule so you can enjoy the resort itself.

Great location, friendly staff, nice resort

Massage was terrible. There was karaoke in the adjoining room held by locals so they moved us to a vacant accommodation room and did the massage on a normal bed which was far too soft. Came into the massage better than leaving

For a boutique resort breakfast was surprisingly good. It had a small buffet section but the added touches were a Pho station and some homemade jams

It was quite cold when I stayed and because of the large space within the bungalow the heater took a while to get going and the blankets were quite thin.

Beautiful setting, we especially loved the pool area and the back drop. Room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner we had was tasty and what we needed after a long day of travelling and good value. Really chilled out place where you could completely relax. They also organised our airport transfer and offer lots of local tours

The huts are not sound proofed so we could hear the guests next to us even if just having a conversation, could be an issue if a light sleeper. The location did end up being a bit too far out for what we needed but is perfect for a few chill days if wanted an escape
