Very clean! Spacious rooms. Good food. Incredible staff. Good was authentic. Breakfast you ordered from a list of what they will serve. Duc arranged a tour for us for $45 per person to see 4 ninh Binh highlights. Restaurant on site was very attentive and food is very fresh. They will not clean your room unless you ask. We didn’t know that and our room wasn’t cleaned or refreshed with towels. They kept our luggage for us since we had a late bus pickup. Duc was more than attentive and willing to help with anything we needed. He was always around taking care of everything and never seems to sleep! Great place as we are in the most beautiful spot in Tràng an. The free bikes with locks were great except the seats were hard. You can rent a scooter for 150,000 and 30,000 for the gas. Pool was clean and usable. We had a late bus pickup and they allowed us to shower and wait for the bus. They always had a rate of 350,000 if you wanted a late check out. We had our own bungalow with fan and ac. We didn’t have to use the ac since it was cool enough. Wish there were some hooks to hang towels and a closet to hang clothes. Water and coffee was free.

We were here mid October and there were a few mosquitos. Nothing to not like it was a great stay. The tours were very touristy. So many people doing the Tràng a boat ride our first day. On the second day we opted to ride bikes to the Bai Dinh, the tallest Pagoda, which was about 7 miles away. It took all day but we really enjoyed the local feel and not being with a million tourists! It was a great adventure.

We stayed at Trang An River View Homestay for three nights and it was a wonderful experience! The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature with an incredible view. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The owner is super friendly, very funny, and always ready to help with anything! We also used the motorbike rental and laundry services — both excellent. The food was absolutely delicious, and all the staff were so kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing experience in Trang An! 💚

The staff is amazing and truly caring! After a 3-hour bike ride from Hanoi in foggy, rainy, and cold weather, it was such a relief to arrive and find our room ready early with the boiler already turned on. The lady at reception even made ginger tea with honey for my boyfriend to help prevent a cough. Every day, they kindly assisted us and provided everything we asked for. Such a wonderful attitude! We are very grateful. The location is incredibly quiet and tranquil, surrounded by stunning mountains and lakes. It’s just a 5-minute by motorbike to the main boat station, so you can skip the queues and sleep in a little longer. Plus, it’s perfectly situated between two directions, making it easy to reach various attractions. The food was tasty, and breakfast was included. The room was spacious, cleaned daily, and featured a shower separate from the sink and toilet—which is quite uncommon in the region :D I highly recommend this place as great value for money and a chance to experience harmony with the breathtaking nature of the region.

I personally didn’t enjoy the stir-fried squid, but the other dishes were good. It’s nice that there was a mosquito repellent plug-in in the room, or at least the option to buy some at the homestay, since there are a few mosquitoes in the evening.

Stayed in a bungalow below the tall limestone rocks. The bungalow was spacious, clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and the shower good. It got a bit damp while we were there (quite humid weather) but this was remedied by switching on the efficient air con. We ate here too and the food was always tasty and well presented. The owners were really nice and helpful. They had bicycles that we could borrow and were able to explore the local area. (About 15mins to get to Trang An for the boat trip) A lovely place to stay, quiet and amidst the fantastic scenery.

The property was great, the weather was a bit damp!

Lovely place, we stayed in a comfortable small cabin, very helpful staff who gave us lots of suggestions for our time there, booked our onward bus trip and even gave us a little goodie bag with water and snacks for the trip! Very nice! Free bicycles to use, motorbikes for rent for a reasonable price. The deck by the lake is a wonderful spot for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Food in the restaurant is fine.

There is a huge construction site next door with working hours from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Extremely loud. If you are an early riser and gone all day, you’ll be fine. Otherwise it’s a big annoyance.

This place is absolutely awesome. It's very very clean and the restaurant serves delicious food. The staff are amazing and so very helpful and kind. The location is awesome, it's a little out of the way, but not too far from most of the sites you would visit, but it's so, so worth it. It was great being out of the hustle and bustle. They hire scooters and push bikes which are awesome as the area surrounding the place is breathtaking. The views with the mountain reflections on the water as you bike around are awesome. Great for photography. We could have stayed a lot longer as it was so peaceful. We would definitely stay again. Just stay here. You won't be disappointed that you did.

Nothing of note, but the pool cues for the pool table could do with an update. Lol.

The bungalows were absolutely gorgeous almost new , well kept in a stunning surrounding. The pool was amazing and clean, first fully clean pool we have seen. There is a viewing deck to sit and watch the sun go down over the mountains have a cold beer or cocktail from the onsite restaurant, the food is reasonably priced and large serves. There’s also a pool table . They also rent scooters at a good price and suggested places of interest to visit. Flower who works in reception was very helpful with helping book onwards bus tickets. Unfortunately it’s advertised as TV but there is none and secondly the bed was too a-bit too hard for us . But it is far superior than anything else in the area.

The view was amazing and one of the best of all the homestays around. The facilities were clean, food was good and well priced. We appreciated being able to use for free the bikes to discover the area. The family hosting is incredibly nice and helped us plan our time in Ninh Binh and even packed us a breakfast when we had to leave early on our last day.

Trang An is a little bit further than Tam Coc and less central so some people could be put off by that, but that's what we loved (again, the scenery!) and we did everything easily by bike.

This was one of our best stays in all of Asia. The location is absolutely beautiful and very quiet. The Homestay is comfortable and there is a nice common area to hang out and swim, or play games which we used a lot during our stay. The restaurant was really good, and a great value with plenty of food options - both local and western. We used the free bikes and also rented scooters for a day which was cheap and convenient. The best thing, however, was how we were treated by the staff. They really took care of us. They were accommodating in every way, and just made it easy and enjoyable. we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Everything! Location superb (out of the way though). The food was amazing and inexpensive. Beer was SO CHEAP! We ate there all 3 nights. The breakfast was included and also delicious. Staff were lovely. Rooms were spacious. Our family used the pool table a lot! Free bicycles available. The pool looked lovely and clean but we didn’t swim. Would be amazing in summer. The views were incredible. Woken up by Roosters and birdsong but who can complain about that! The lovely staff even gave us a goody bag for our trip to Hanoi.

The only issue was that on Booking.com if you copy or use the address provided it takes you to Trang An Village Homestay so we then had to get a grab to River View. So don’t use Booking.com to find it just enter it into Google maps by name. Even then the lady at River View offered to pay for our Grab (we declined).
