The staff members were polite and kind, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. The bedding was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were perfect for a good night's sleep. Highly recommend for a restful stay.

The Remont hotel is very conveniently located close to the A40, and is on a main bus route which takes only 10 minutes to reach Oxford City centre. We parked (for free) at the hotel and then used the buses exclusively during our stay in Oxford. The room was comfortable with a good sized bathroom, the towels provided were large and fluffy. Breakfast was particularly good and substantial, with friendly service.
It should be noted that the hotel is not air conditioned. It was 26C in Oxford during our visit and our room remained comfortable enough at night, but this might be a consideration for some guests at the height of summer.

Easy to find. On-site parking. Safe, secure, clean, comfortable, good breakfast, good value for money given the location. Walk in wet room, clearly still set up for disabled users as pull alarm was present although tied up.
Ground floor and near restaurant so could hear footfall in the corridor from other guests/staff. Window looks out directly onto car park, therefore not easy to open the curtains without potential for other guests to see straight into the room. Bathroom shower would be better with a rainfall over top option as well as wall mounted adjustable height option.

Good value comfortable and pleasant hotel conveniently situated just north of Summertown, with good parking, which is essential in Oxford. Room and bathroom were comfortable and quiet, and breakfast was excellent. Definitely will return.
Only issue was that the fire alarm went off at 3.15am! It soon became apparent that there was no fire (fire brigade did not turn up..) but it took ages for the alarm to be switched off so the night's sleep was effectively ruined. Of course safety is the absolute priority, but perhaps this could have been better handled with some gesture of goodwill. Otherwise all good!!

The young woman who greeted us both on arrival and at breakfast was delightful. The rooms were simple, clean, and relatively comfortable, and there was plentiful parking. The breakfast was the best we had on our 2-week stay--the hot and cold options were plentiful and delicious.
The bathroom--particularly the shower/tub--was hard for us to navigate, even as able-bodied 30-somethings. We stayed in a twin room near the breakfast room, so perhaps other rooms have more manageable showers, but ours was a tub/shower combo that was elevated from the floor by about a foot. We had to step over the high wall of the tub and basically do an upward lunge to hoist ourselves in, all while saying a little prayer that our foot wouldn't slip in the tub. To boot, the shield for the water wasn't terribly effective, so the floor got all wet. I nearly slipped while getting out, and my life flashed before my eyes!

We had a very spacious room in the annexe, which had a large and super-comfortable bed, as well as a sofa. The ensuite was clean and there is a lovely patio/garden area. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet well cooked. The hotel is on a very easy bus route into town, and close to Summertown shops and cafes (10 minute walk). There are several car parking spaces on site.
The entrance and stairs in the annexe are now looking a little tired (not true in the main building). It is a shame (but understandable) that there is no food served except at breakfast.

A lovely small guesthouse/hotel. Great location just 10 minutes by public bus from city centre and bus stops just outside the hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Let us drop off our bags ahead of check-in, then left to our room when ready. Had a room with 3 single beds and it was very spacious for 3 adults. Beds comfortable, warm room, great shower and the bath towels were large and fluffy. Breakfast had good choice and breakfast room very clean and bright.

I think it is family run. The gentleman at the reception desk was extremely helpful, explained in detail how to get to my conference. Breakfast is in a lovely room, overlooking the garden. Weather was very hot, had access to the garden. Room was in a quiet part of the hotel, as requested. Room facilities included coffee making and biscuits,as well as shower toiletries. Breakfast was excellent - customer focused service, a selection of hot and cold food. Would thoroughly recommend.
Had to ask for toilet roll as ran out.

We have stayed here a few times before and the location is great. Staff are lovely and breakfast is good.
This time our room was tiny, despite booking a long while in advance. I first booked 2 rooms but then amended to one room for 3 people as our son wasn’t coming with us. We were there for our daughter’s graduation. The one room amendment ended up costing me more than it would have with keeping the 2 rooms - this was a disappointment- I was charged for upgrading to a ‘bigger’ room then charged even more to add a 3rd person despite already paying for the bigger room catering for 3 - this definitely wasn’t a bigger room. It was a squeeze and closer to graduation- prices were phenomenal. Room was a bit dusty but served it’s purpose

The room was very comfortable, the bathroom facilities were good and it was nice to have a sofa in the room. The breakfast options were good and the staff helpful.. Conveniently located near a bus stop with a regular service to/from Oxford. It is also located within easy walking distance of Summertown which has lots of good quality shops and places to eat. The onsite parking was very convenient.
The hairdryer was faulty, however the staff immediately provided a new replacement when it was mentioned. It was very dusty underneath the side table. Mildly disappointed that the television was not a smart TV that we could connect to our Amazon account, however that was a minor matter.
