Great value being so close to the beach. Plenty to see around the area - Seaforth playground, Cape Hillsborough, Ball Bay, and Smally Beach. Fishing was great. Reception staff were wonderful, friendly, and accommodating https://youtube.com/shorts/oFuhU0H-W5Q?si=b7kZyJ3kQ6u1wHSL

The microwave in the room would have been great. Dryer didn’t work, unfortunately

Basic rooms but comfortable, spacious and clean

Finding our room at night was hard work. Not much lighting and had to drive around large campgrounds trying to find the small number on the cabin… it was ok though. We probably had looked at map upside down a few times and found it eventually

We chose to stay here on our drive Cairns-Brisbane and wanted to see the Kangaroos on the Beach at Cape Hillsborough. The cabin was spacious and great value for money. We enjoyed a quick paddle at the beach with our toddler and the staff were very helpful and cooked up a great dinner for us after a long day in the car! The cabins were about 15 min drive from Cape Hillsborough. It was cool seeing the Kangaroos, however, a little less 'natural' than I had expected.

Nothing, it was a great stay!

Location was excellent. Affordable and less than 15 minutes from Cape Hillsborough and Seaforth in the other direction. I thought the villa would make an excellent 'tiny house' which I am looking for as I get too old to go up and down my steps at home.

Location and wonderful hospitality. Tina is amazing and always accommodates us in Room 43 that we love

Unfortunately there were no fly screens in the bedroom or lounge room windows so we had some friendly bugs and flies which wasn’t pleasant.

Halliday Bay Resort is our regular weekend getaway. Tina and the team are amazing, the cabins are always clean, fresh, comfortable and only minutes from the beach. Highly recommended.

Many units in facility, people are friendly, birds are amazing. Villa’s are outdated but cosy enough

It was cheap! And a great place for a one night stop over! The rooms were very clean!

The exterior could do with a face lift! But don’t let that put you off!

I love the wild life that come all round your room, I love it’s a really short walk to the beach for a swim

The only thing I would change is the villa’s need some work
