We stayed in a small, but well designed one-bedroom unit with all mod-cons. TVs in both living and bedrooms. Very comfortable sofa/armchair. Short walk to a lovely beach. This stay provided a little bit of luxury as part of a multi-stop trip. The hosts were very personable and friendly and very responsive to our enquiries.

The location was awesome with a great excess to the beach. Shame the weather wasn’t the best.

The room wasn’t very sound proof the room next door was using their washing machine which vibrated our toaster on our bench. They were very heavy walkers and talkers. For the price I didn’t think it was value for money.

We were upgraded to beach front unit. Very comfortable, cozy, clean with everything you need.

Probably just not having main tv channels. But thankfully there are a lot of digital / movie channels available if you want to chill out. Dated property / unrenovated, but very cosy and very well maintained

Wonderful Cath (I hope that is the right name...sorry if my memory has lagged) met me when I arrived a little late after taking some exciting detours on my journey down from Cairns. She was joyful, welcoming and very informative and made arrival easy and settling in a breeze. I loved the room - heaps of space and well appointed kitchenette with good sized bathroom. My husband would have loved the baggage racks in the room - so unusual these days but they certainly make things easier. Bed comfy, room quiet and dark for good sleep, close to beach for early and late swims/walks/photos/bird watching (black cockatoos & other); Book swap was also great; Parking straight outside my room AND under cover - what a treat! It was my first time here and I really loved it and I could walk to get food at the very friendly local grocery store and food outlets. I will definitely return. I really enjoyed this clean, tidy, friendly and well run facility - thanks so much!

Great location, always clean, staff fabulous and grounds are always kept perfect. Unit has everything you need and bed super comfy. Have stayed many times and will continue to do so.

Staff were friendly and helpful but unobtrusive when not required. Rooms were clean and comfortable with everything needed for self catering stay. Resort is right on Blacks beach.

Outside of the resort and beach there are not many facilities within easy walking distance.

Great views and ground. Staff were friendly, room was clean and spacious. Was exactly what we needed for our stay, will happily return next visit again and recommend to others.

Everything was great, besides no pegs for the outside clothesline.

Beautiful beachside location under the palm trees. Family-run business, extremely friendly and helpful. Beachside BBQ's perfect dinner location. BBQ's and park area are clean and well tended.

Apartments are dated, but this is justified by the reasonable accommodation price.

The Comfort Resort is a great location. Kathy was so kind & accommodating for my late night check in, she extended outstanding hospitality! My room was impeccably clean! It had comfortable bed and pillows. I love that I could hear the ocean from my room! It was a delight! This location has a fantastic beach just minutes away to enjoy a sunrise walk!
