Thankful of an upgrade to our room which was lovely. Rydges doing a bit of renovation and our room had touches of new paint. Carpet worn in areas especially those areas that once were concealed by tv unit etc. Bed comfortable & tvs in both the bedroom and lounge. Bit of housekeeping needed in their carpark on Level One, balconies that were not accessible from other rooms have debris on them which was an eyesore. Staff helpful but there was a problem with the refunding of the $100 security bond. Staff member unable to complete the refund and said as they have my card details she would chase it up and refund. 3.5days later I’ve contacted Rydges to notify no refund to be told a supervisor was looking after all the “open accounts”. Not good enough that I had not received any communication & had to chase up myself. End result I then made another trip of 40kms into Mackay to finalise the refund process.

Comfy bed, nice lights, shower pressure was excellent, good TV reception, wonderful person at reception. Nice dark curtains, nice location, nice view. It was raining and we could hear that lovely rain sounds

The drainage in the bathroom wasn't good, so water all over the floor, the toilet when flushed, the water kept going as if toilet wasn't filled. Balcony was growing mould. My partner has a disability, the parking space isn't wide for people with disability, it was right next to the bins, and since it was raining, even under carpark, that spot was flooded - need to pick a different spot for disability parking.

Great customer service, friendly & helpful staff. Lovely view from the 6th floor window. Air-conditioner was perfct. Enjoyed the complementary shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. Bed was super comfortable, with no complaints there. Restaurant Moss on Woods did a delicious breakfast. Great walking distance to many shops and restaurants

Small room, bathroom felt cramped and noticed the bathroom tiles, shower and overall bathroom area is requiring a deep clean and noticed damage to the wall and the TV was small and did not have access to Netflix.

The location was great! The room was spacious. The guest receptionist when I was checking in was fantastic. Took the time to let me know how everything worked and where I could get what I was looking for. All this dispite a rude guest huffing and puffing behind me, waiting to be checked in or out.

Room service ended at 9 pm ( I get it. But it didn't suit my needs, so I was a bit disappointing ) Very limited parking and difficult to turn around once up there and discovered there were no carparks available.

It was an amazing suite Peaceful Relaxing

Just basic things for more families with more then 2x children - Sanitary bags - Towels as myself and my family where sharing 2x - Blankets for cooler nights - A little more of an option for kids for the breakfast menu I would’ve ordered but wasn’t enough to choose from for my kids

The room was clean and tidy. Staff were great. Location is great. There is a washing machine / dryer in the room which was awesome. Overall I like to stay here each time I work in Mackay

Could not turn off the Aircon. It was set for 20.5 degress

The staff were friendly and the ladies who clean the rooms were awesome. I booked for two adults and when I arrived it was two single beds they changed them with no fuss. Was fabulous

Nothing I didn't like, but the instructions for the washer dryer was a little hard to understand, my clothes didn't dry. Maybe instructions for dummies might be needed?

Well located in a central position. The Hotel was well presented and clean. The suites were quite spacious and beds very comfortable. The staff were excellent.

The lounge furniture in my room was old and torn in several places.

Best location in Mackay. Great staff, good size room, room service breakfast was excellent. Good off-street free parking.

Little water dripping noise in wall partition between bathroom and toilet. Not enough to keep us awake, but needs attention. Forgot to tell the desk on departure. Would suggest some luggage trolleys for carpark to room. More foxtel channels would be nice

Well located in CBD with free parking. Easy access to great walks around the Pioneer River. Comfortable if somewhat small room. Good idea to credit customers with a $10 voucher for each day they chose to re-use towels.

Rooms were small & the furniture is a bit worn out.
