My room had fridge/ microwave/ crockery/ cutlery/ but no water jug to put in fridge. Would have liked some soap/ bodywash sachets not just shampoo sachets. Modern layout + decor except 4 a ricketty chair. Lovely spacious room located away from traffic noise on Nebo Rd. Felt safe + secure at motel location bonus for a woman on her own with no car. Taxi service in town was terrific, would recommend prompt + friendly drivers. No breakfast - self catered my own. But would have appreciated replenishment of tea/coffee + milk sachets daily as I rarely returned home from QCWA State Conferenc before motel office was closed each evening to ask for more. Should have been replenished daily like in other motels.

Motel could have asked for early payment for stay if needed not just a phone call on day of arrival whilst still travelling by road. I could have paid earlier ie day before travel just lucky I checked my phone at a pit stop or I think my confirmed booking may have been lost for my room even though I had a confirmed booking and instruction to pay at location on arrival!?!! Some lights / power points didn't work!

We did not have breakfast so we cannot make an assessment. Were we supposed to have breakfast included in our stay because if this was the case we weren't informed.

It was all okay really but the possum in the roof was a bit off putting until we worked out what it was. that was causing the noise in our unit. The possum was quite large and quite beautiful to watch walking along the fence so no worries. I would not like to see it harmed.

Poor communication with regards to late check-in. Despite trying to contact the venue as I travelled I knew nothing until I arrived and found a note taped on the office window giving my name and a room number. The room had been left unlocked and my booking information and receipt were left just inside.

It was dated, but it was really clean. AC was good, and each room had dedicated sheltered parking. The room had a microwave & mini fridge which was handy

The TV was really old and didn't have any HDMI. The laundry room/iron was out of service

I stayed in Mackay less than a week ago in paradise Lodge or motel I forgot the name of the place but it was a caravan park I was an hour behind check in time they didn't mind left they keys in the room and the door unlocked...but here,I was 20 mins late and got charged an extra $10 for late fees? Isn't that for leaving late fees? Will never stay here again

Location was good the room was clean it’s was quite not as noisy at some motel with guest coming and going was very clean outside

Could have more hanging rails in the bathroom there was only one for one towel

location was perfect for hospital visits

Shower recess was too small for comfortable use by large adults and no area to rest foot on to wash

Spacious room, with nice bathroom and wonderful shower. Bed was pretty comfy.

Pillows really hard and flat so not super comfy. Also forgot to give us a hand towel, but other than that everything was really nice.

friendly staff, I didnt expect the room to be service everyday for the price i Paid

pool was closed for repairs (just bad luck on timing). aircraft noise was quite loud, very close to take off and landing path.

Great location, friendly helpful staff, room was clean, lovely to have a sliding glass door with security screen at the back of the room on to a grassy area.

The bathroom had little room to move. Was ok though. Bed was uncomfortable. Needs to be replaced. Rolled into the middle all the time.
