Location. Good views.

Room didn't have Hair dryer but the receptionist was very good to find one and bring to my room. There were 2 or 3 utencils that were not in the kitchen. Spatula cutting board and something else that we needed to cook with. The extrator fan above the stove did not work. The shower had only cold to warm water on the first night but it did get better during the remainder of our stay. I was concerned with the receptionist on my previous stay as she was very rude however on this trip she was helpful and courteous. Thank you. It seems like the brand of Mantra is not holding up in this facility. There is alot of maintenance that is lacking with the hotel. It just looks and feels run down. But still in a good location and can be perfect.

Reception staff friendly & efficient. Restaurant waitress was lovely, warm friendly, added to the atmosphere and had only worked there a couple of weeks after working on boats previously and a clinical psychologist. Added to the great steak we enjoyed. The room service staff was also lovely realising the menu we had clicked through the QR code was incorrect and bought it up to us to choose. Need to fix.

Everything was great but need to fix the QR code or website link to current menu to help staff & guests.

The staff were so helpful and obliging. The location was fantastic.

The room needs an update. It was clean but has broken items such as toilet roll holder. Old makeup mirror missing just frame. Mold. in grout in bathroom. The whole place is so lovely and with a little bit of a facelift this place could be amazing.

The staff we encountered were excellent; efficient, friendly and knowledgeable regarding recommendations to places to visit in Mackay. Our room was very nice with a great view of the harbour, and had almost everything we required for a 5 night stay. The food at the restaurant was very good, and nearby bars and eateries provided alternative venues for meals.

I would have liked a toaster in the room, and more comfortable chairs on the balcony would have been perfect!

The room was spacious and comfortable. The balcony had a lovely view of the harbour. Breakfast and dinner meals were amazing and such good value for money as they were large serves.

The internet connection to our room was very poor and kept dropping out. This made it difficult to get work completed or even to stream movies on the TV.

Plenty of free parking, large, clean, one bed with a balcony . Staff were very friendly and helpful. View was nice but you had to be out on the balcony, against the rail to look at it.

Curtains in the bedroom didn't cover the entire window, so I had light coming in at night. It was only about 5cm or less on both sides but with the big flood light outside in the carpark, you noticed it. I still had a great sleep though.

We loved how spacious and CLEAN our room was, so satisfied (hats off to the cleaning staff 💖). Enjoyed our balcony view of the harbour. The breakfast staff were soo friendly and warm. The food was fantastic, very filling!! Loved that our floor had free laundry, which came in handy 😀 thank you so much. We really appreciate this. Be coming back for sure 💯😊

The only thing was parking, not enough car space for the hotel guests. The morning period was fine. At night, we had to park outside on the main street for a few nights because we missed out, but either then that, that's the only fault.

The staff, all of them, from front desk and resturant to lovely housekeeping. Friendly helpful wonderful.Fanastic views, awesome room, close to walks and my family. Everything so easy

The weather was a little less than ideal. But the crew could not conttol that snd we still went swimming as it was windy not cold

Very comfortable. Staff first class. Missed breakfast deadline, the chef still prepared a very good breakfast for us although we were 10 minutes passed the finish of breakfast. Close to a marina and beach with bars and restaurants. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was very good.

When in the kitchen/leisure area had to leave door ajar as when fully closed constant wind whistle due to atmospheric conditions outside (very windy). Notices advised keep patio doors etc closed due to humidity issue.
