We were extremely happy with our stay and will absolutely look at booking again. The room was very clean and spacious. Mini bar fridge had a very functional freezer too (which was handy for ice bricks for travel). A sliding glass door meant we were able to enjoy the cool breeze from the ocean and let fresh air in. The air conditioning cooled the room well. Comfy bed and pillows. Convenient parking close to our room which meant easy packing/unloading. A great location as just out of the hustle and bustle that it was quiet throughout day/night and right across the road from a park and the beach. Motel staff were very helpful and genuinely cared about the quality of our stay.

A laundry service was provided by the motel and therefore we weren't able to do our own washing. Not a huge issue for us as only stayed 2 nights.

A lovely room in a pleasant part of Mackay, very close to the beach, for walking, and the hotel opposite, where we had coffee in the morning and a very pleasant meal in the evening. So handy. Good facilities in the room for self catering. The staff, especially the receptionist, could not have been more helpful. I highly recommend this motel.

Clean and comfortable. The manager was lovely and helpful. There were breakfast options. Nice walks and parklands nearby. Quiet residential area. Easy drive to city centre, shops, etc. close to airport.

A little drive away from shops and restaurants, although one in the hotel across the road. So we’re glad to have a car.

The room was beautiful and had everything I needed. It was clean and well looked after. I walked to the cricket and to the beach so the location was perfect. Check in was very easy and well communicated

I would have liked some Foxtel channels but that is just a personal preference

Fantastic, friendly service. I have been to a few motels/hotels in my life and this exceeded my expectations. Very well located, close to a restaurant and is quiet. Room was big, clean and bathroom was in excellent condition. Everything worked and small things is appreciated, such as fresh coffee sachets was given each day.

The Hospitality was Exceptional. Tina & her Husband were very accommodating. Our room did not have a toaster or a microwave but we were able to borrow one for the time we stayed and were also able to use the laundry which was very convenient as we need to wash clothes daily for our stay. The rooms were very clean and tidy and well presented. It is also directly across the road from the beach. I would recommend staying here anytime.

This motel is located in East Mackay right across the road from a park and a beach, and a 6-minute drive from the CBD. We stayed in a well-designed spacious room with a comfortable Queen bed, kitchenette, lounge room and modern bathroom. This is a great option for a beachfront stay at Mackay if you have your own wheels.

Great location if you are looking for peace and quiet. Great facilities and a host that went out of her way to juggle rooms for our next visit.

Nothing not to like here for us. 4 minutes drive away from the sporting precinct. About the same to the shops.

I couldn't locate the knifes and forks so ate my takeaway dinner (salad as well) with fingers. It wasn't until the following morning when I bent down to pull out the jug that I discovered the knifes and folks at the back of the cupboard behind the jug. Otherwise I loved the place and their service and will defiantly stay again.

The staff are exceptional. Tina was away but Helen did an excellent job. The omelette breakfast is what I come back for everytime, and the evening meals are great too (food seperate cost). Was Also nice they took the time to say hi to my wife and daughter who were already on the Facetime when they delivered the food to the room, such nice people. My preferred Mackay accommodation every time =) Thanks again!
