Beds were very comfortable. Sheets were very very soft. Foctel was awesome. I wanted to stay a other night to keep watching foxtel. I missed reading about the hotel. I'd forgotten we could of ordered breakfast instead of buying our own. Wish the restaurant was open

The noise from other guests and the road noise. No good views to sit and have a beer except out in the carport. Guests are expected to wash their own dishes, yet the cutlery in our room was not clean by any stretch of any imagination. Being unclean and not finding Any clean cutlery. Having to do dishes in the bathroom sink isn't I believe healthy

Family room was spacious and private between the single beds and the main bed area. Even though all beds are in the same room, there is a privacy wall which allows for 2 separate TVs - one for the kiddos and 1 for the adults. Comfortable beds. Good size outdoor area with table and chairs. Lovely pool and pool area. Check in was easy and well informative. There is an onsite restaurant but unfortunately it was closed for the week. But the Shamrock hotel is located across the road and was great for dinner but I would recommend you book as it is extremely popular.

In the family room it'd be good to have a fan or separate aircon on the Queen bed side of the wall, it was quite hot and opening a window wasn't an option for sleeping due to noise once opened.

I recently stayed at the Mackay Resort Motel and was thoroughly impressed! The staff were incredibly lovely and helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and equipped with fantastic facilities that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was excellent—convenient yet quiet, providing a peaceful retreat after a busy day. The WiFi was fast. It’s an ideal spot for a family stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Mackay. Looking forward to staying here again!

Parking spots are not lined, so some drivers ended up taking multiple spaces.

The staff were so friendly and helpful! They all seemed happy to see us each day and also made sure we all were happy and had everything we needed. It was really nice and for that reason alone we will definitely be back to stay. The actual motel itself was well maintained and the rooms were very comfortable and well looked after. The housekeepers were so happy and lovely and they worked very hard to ensure everything was done in time for other guests. The pool was always clean, they also offer pool towels to use at your stay, no request was too much. They really made the last days of our holiday great! Thanks all really awesome job! We didn't get to try the restaurant onsite but it smelt amazing as well and everyone seemed to enjoy their food.

We stayed for 3 nights in a self catering room with large fridge, small cook top and microwave. Dishes and cutlery well supplied. Undercover parking was great right outside the door. Room was to the back of the facility so no traffic noise. Bed was comfortable and bathroom shower head the best I've ever had in a motel. Motel close to all the shopping centers and restaurants. Swimming pool looked excellent as well as the restaurant. We had breakfast delivered to the room on our last morning and it was superb! Room had a big TV and many of the Foxtel channels as well as free to air. Room was very clean. We have travelled through Mackay numerous times and stayed at many motels. This was the best one by far and we will return.

The bathroom was clean except for mold in a few spots in the shower and could be fixed with a regrout. The chairs at the dining table were extremely heavy and difficult to pull out and the vinyl upholstery tatty on the arms.

We love our stay here! It was definitely value for money with how clean the room and how comfortable the beds were. The attention to details is amazing: ample supply of basic toiletries - shampoo, body wash, lotion and even shaving cream; cutlery and crockery; and a small dining table and chairs. Perfect for a small family on a budget. We booked the deluxe family room with two double beds and 2 tv’s. It’s all we needed for a weekend in Mackay. Lastly, the staff at the reception were nice and friendly. We already booked our room for next month!

We just wished there were enough parking spaces. It was a bit hard to find a parking spot within the hotel when you come back late night. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

It was a good stop over motel. The staff were amazing and friendly. always with a smile. loved the swimming pool and the idea on separating the rooms with the shower in the middle made it feel like a 2 bedroom unit.

There was a bit of a strong smell when we checked in but after leaving the windows opened for a bit it disappeared. the beds for my family personally were way too soft and it felt like I was sinking but overall happy with the place,

A lovely motel, quite classy looking, made a very good first impression. Loved our room, really nice decor. Very nice Reception area, plus restaurant and lovely pool. Outdoors dining by the pool looked lovely at night with bud lights, very pretty. Popular motel, carpark full. Our room had everything you need - desk & chair, tall cupboard, small dining table & 2 chairs, fridge & microwave, armchair and a VERY comfortable bed with bedside tables & bedside lights. Corner spa bath/shower is good but people with mobility issues will struggle to climb into and out of the bath/shower. Excellent Wahl hairdryer.

The property was advertised well and my expectations were set and exceeding on arrival. It seems to have been renovated either recently or been very well looked after since it's renovation. The complex is very well presented and although we didn't use the pool I did have a good look at it and could tell is was well maintained. We didn't interact directly with the staff but communication was great and the fact we actually didn't directly speak with them I think shows how well they do their job.

the breakfast was good especially the coffee, love it. The location is very convenient to the airport, shops... but the only disappointment was the restaurant at the motel was closed. Fortunately, there has a hotel with pub meal is very good.

Car parking can be arranged better if there has allocation to each room. If mark line, then people won't parked two spaces
