Was close to all shops and restaurants. Was a nicely set up room for a family. The beds were clean and comfy. Overall, it was a nice place to stay, with a few minor things that could be fixed to make it feel like it was worth the money.

The air conditioning in the second room was broken and dirty. The shower head was the wrong type of head for the shower setup. It just blasted you in the face, and you weren't able to move it. Unless you held it. There is no water in the fridge and not enough cups for the number of people staying in the room. There also weren't enough chairs at the table for the number of people that potentially could stay. Beds could do with more pillows.

Everything is well maintained. The place is older and dated decor but clean. White linen and towels, great kitchen fit out. Water in the fridge. Includes a nice breakfast with juice, cereal and a variety of toast breads with many jams and honey. We were pleasantly surprised and will stay there again in our return journey. The reception guy, Allan, was great too. Couldn’t do enough to oblige.

Nothing to dislike at all.

Close proximity to shops and food outkets

Didn't realise there would be no room service during the stay. Booked this hotel as booking indicated Free Breakfast was in the price (which was a little more expensive)and thought this would be good but all bookings included this and as you had to finish by 8am, did not suit us. As elder people, we were on holiday to relax.

This is our 2nd stay and we came back due to great location and room sizes are good. Breakfast is lovely touch.

There were some things broken or very old. And staff member wasn’t exactly welcoming , almost felt like when checking in I was a bother. Which wasn’t like that a few years ago when we stayed.

Reliably good condition and location

Breakfast room layout not conducive to easy food prep. You end up stuck in a corner to butter your toast while people trying to squeeze past to get to fridge. Could learn a lot from QMotel in Rockhampton including dispenser containers for cereals etc.

The accommodation catered to our needs. Alan was extremely kind. He went above and beyond in accommodating us. It was a brief stay so that we could attend a funeral. I would happily recommend this property for its staff, space, convenience, cleanliness and location. Loved the access to a verandah space too.

Loved the beautiful building! The rooms were spacious and very clean and comfortable and the king sized bed was amazing!! The breakfast bar was a bit cute!

Didn't like seeing cigarette butts on the balcony roof. Please people, courtesy goes a long way! There was a cigarette butts tin supplied near the table and chairs. Use it!

We like the whole package: location, rate, always friendly staff, room size etc.

The lighting in the room is very dull. Trying to read at night is difficult. In the particular room we had at this visit the light over the mirror in room (not bathroom) was not working.Also bedside lamp had no bulb. The bed is on wheels and was rolling around everytime we moved.

The room was big, clean, bed was comfortable. Basic coffee, cereal and toast breakfast included. Undercover parking.

Nothing really. It was on a busy road, there was a bit of truck noise, but not a lot at night.

Backs on to a quiet street but on the main road making it comfortable for sleeping but easy to find. Comfortable furnishings Brisk walking distance from town including cafes, shopping centre and office works

I prefer to be able to cook a meal and missed having a way to fry a pancake or cook a stir fry
