Our hosts were A+ New owners had just taken over and Margaret was showing them the ropes so to speak. The curry aroma when I first went into the office was amazing. So much so I asked if they had a restaurant. That set the mood for a curry dinner. As there was no Indian takeaway pamphlets our host kindly downloaded a menu from a restaurant for us, which we appreciated so much. Fresh milk served in a milk jug was a great touch. Ordered breakfast, which arrived promptly with a joyful Good morning. Highly recommend, next time we are travelling through Mackay, we will definitely stay here. Thank you

The location is perfect as we travel north to Cairns from Bundaberg at the half way point, and it’s on the Bruce Highway as we leave Mackay, for easy access. The motel is run by a delightful family and we are return guests. We travel with our dog and he is always welcome.

There is nothing to mention really. There are little things that add to your stay in the rooms. (Biccies) Tissues would be welcome.

The property was lovely, well situated to everything and was walking distance to mount pleasant centre with Coles and woolies

While the rooms are non-smoking, the smoking area was immediately outside each room. There was cigarette smoke coming into the rooms at all hours of the day and night as different people smoked.

Short overnight stay, very comfy with the best shower. Had lots of tea / coffee and extra snack additions for purchase. Main shopping centre a short drive away.

Nothing really, the internet didn't work, but we had our own, so it wasn't really a problem.

The breakfast was delicious, eggs cooked exactly how I like them and the serving was very generous. It was delivered right on time. There are juices and snacks that you can buy in the room. The bed was a king and comfortable. The property was immaculately clean. The location is great, easy to get to Mount Pleasant Shops and back. Big flatscreen TV. Plenty of desk space for me to work. Car is right outside the door. The room was just a bit smaller than I like. Otherwise it was a nice comfortable stay.

It was a very nice motel in a good location on the way north from town. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we were very happy with the beds, linen and towels. Our dog was welcome and having a park across the street was great. We would certainly stay again.

I thought the staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. We had a camper trailer and was no issue yo help us with a parking spot. Rooms very clean. Would recommend this stay to anyone that had a dog or 2. Loved it.

The room was really comfortable, with all the little things that make a difference, coffee station, mini bar, good pillows, instant hot water, strong water pressure in the shower and pet friendly.

Very welcoming lady at the front counter, she even offered to go to the shops and buy some things for us . The room was very clean and equipped with lots of things including a microwave we we’re very happy

Shelly was absolutely amazing! So kind and considerate - the entire experience was easy and just exactly what we needed after a long day of driving. Definitely recommend and pet friendly!
