This hotel far exceeded my expectations! I was very pleased! Our family stayed here because we went to the Polar Express. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Close to PE and on the same road as some great stores to do some shopping! Also, close to Concord Mills. The staff was very friendly, rooms were very clean, bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom was pretty and the shower head was super! I really liked that they didn't have those cheap shampoo/conditioner/lotion mini bottles, but actual large size bottles stuck in the shower and bathroom (so much more aesthetically pleasing and products didn't see as cheap as mini bottles). TV worked great, various coffee cups in the room. We also had a refrigerator, hair dryer, container for ice and keurig. We stayed on the 4th floor...lots of people were staying there but it was so quiet during our stay....like no one else was there. Not much of a view but we weren't there for the view. Breakfast was surprisingly good (we had waffles). We needed gas and we could literally walk to the gas station. They had a paper in the lobby with local places to eat which was nice. Oooohh, and checkout was at noon which we loved, too! You will enjoy staying here!

Breakfast was good. Restaurants walking distance away as well as list of restaurants close by including who delivers at the desk was nice. Bible in room was nice also. Easy and safe to get to from the interstate. (The traffic light with arrow was important.)

No drinking water for free. (Some places have a huge container of filtered ice water in the lobby that we use to fill our water bottles.) The person overseeing breakfast was RUDE though. Poor sound proofing.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Kadreeda (I may have misspelled that) at the front desk was very informative and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was pretty good. Loved the 24 hour coffee station. Parking lot felt safe. Location was super convenient and close to many restaurants. The entire hotel felt safe and secure and relaxing. Nice seating area in the lobby with a great view and places to sit and drink coffee. The pool was the perfect temperature and they provide towels for you. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The ironing board was kind of cheap and fell apart the last day of our stay, but my husband was able to put it back together, lol. The iron did not work that great.

The hotel staff was ABSOLUTELY amazing. I did not catch the night shift manager's name, but he went above and beyond. I drive an electric car, and he stopped me in the parking lot to let me know that the hotel had free chargers that I could use. Additionally, the check-in process was smooth and the breakfast was just right to get me started on my long journey the next morning.

There was nothing that I did not like about that hotel. Everything was just as I expected and wanted.

Location to venue we were attending. Hotel was clean and accommodating.

They oversell their rooms and put 3rd party bookings into rooms other than what was reserved. I had booked a King Suite and upon entering our room it was a double Queen. I was told the hotel over sold and my booking was not available. After being very persistent and working with the manager we were moved to the King Suite. It was a special weekend for us and it was important to me that we had the room we reserved.

Staff were welcoming and you even had the option to check in early which was a plus due to me arriving earlier than expected I definitely will book with them again the next time I’m in the area. Room was spotless and the most comfortable bed I had a great nights rest so good I missed breakfast lol

Transportation theme hotel interior decor for Salisbury/Spencer area history as a Norfolk Southern railway town has some framed photos of a locomotive of its rival CSX railroad hung along the hallways of each floor. It should be a Norfolk Southern or its heritage railroad Southern Railway locomotive on display. It’s like a “stick in the eye” to locals and employees who stay here.

Great friendly staff. Wonderful seasonal apple waffles for breakfast. We even got to pick the floor we wanted because it was so slow for Thanksgiving!

There was a dead roach in our room, but we didn't think much of it besides throwing it in the trash. We live in woods and are used to spider and scorpions so it didnt bother us much. No live bugs were found and the place was really clean otherwise!

They are "pet friendly" if you give them $50 extra dollars! Not a deposit just in case but $50 gone from your wallet when you walk in the door. And the fee is not published with the "pet friendly" The room is already on the high side for the area a this amounts to a 30% increase! I won't be staying at Hampton with a pet in the future.

The sink in the bathroom was clogged and did not empty well. The front desk was notified at check out. Also we would rather have the complimentary bath washes in the tub be on the back of the shower wall instead on taking up room in the center of the shower area.
