Please remember that this is a budget hotel and the price we had was excellent for what we received! Leah the manager and the staff were brilliant Kayleigh and Christa were the main two girls on reception that we dealt with most days, nothing fazed these girls and they were always able to help us out and give information. Also nice to chat with and the friendly attitude certainly helps after our first hotel on arrival in Newark! (Another review)! The facilities provided (Pool and Gym) were excellent, unable to use them this visit due to a busy family schedule. The breakfast was adequate but I'm sure it isn't to everyone's standard, there was sausage patties and eggs in the Bain Marie and toast was available to accompany it. There is two waffle makers and plenty of choice of syrups and calories to go on it (Not my favourite)! Cereals were on tap as were yoghurts etc, coffee and hot beverages were from a dispenser and a very decent brew as well. There was always a member of staff on hand constantly checking supplies and cleaning surfaces etc. Our room was brilliant and roomy, everything was in place and the fridge worked well. The weather was changeable and varied from hot sun to rain, therefore we could leave for a trip come back to a warm room, the A/C was exceptionally powerful and cooled the room rapidly, also it would warm up if it was not so hot. We could not fault the service or cleanliness of the room and bathroom. We can certainly recommend the hotel and staff and will definitely return if possible.

Possibly more choice at breakfast, but I don't like American bacon prefer Canadian, so I guess they don't give me either! The pool is unavailable to guests for a few hours in the afternoon to guests and this may be annoying to some people, however didn't bother me..

The room was spacious and clean, staff was friendly and helpful, location was convenient, gym was well-equipped, and breakfast was solid. Downtown Fishkill was adorable with a lot of great restaurants.

The pool was UNHEATED! How cruel for a family-friendly hotel. Parents were freezing and toddlers were crying. The pool was intended to be our afternoon activity, and it was a total bust. The kids were so disappointed.

Breakfast was the low point--no oatmeal, hard boiled eggs were really hard. Worst part overall: pillows too hard. Best points: location and the I-84 Diner within easy walking distance. Bed was also very comfortable. Shower needed more water pressure (although the one in my friends' room was excellent). Forgot to mention they have Netflix--a plus.

It would be a great experience if we were able to see the mountains from the window instead of parking lots. But unfortunately they don’t have any room facing the mountains only parking lot. 2nd They provide extremely poor quality plastic knife and forks at the break fast table which ruins the taste of the food, 3rd the water temperature of their indoor swimming pool was so cold.

Enjoyed the stand up shower. The room was comfortable. Staff was pleasant. They did a good job cleaning the room.

Breakfast person (one of the days) began clearing the area 15 minutes early even though people were still arriving. Maybe change the variety of breakfast. Different types of eggs or change to bacon occasionally.

Relatively good location: close to a diner but further away from Walmart (40 min walk) Very big beds and soft mattresses. Many tv channels available.

The breakfast could have been more varied. There were no windows that could be opened in the room. The water in the swimming pool seemed cloudy.

Asked for an extra blanket, desk rep said it would be a little delayed. Never came. Didn’t like them holding $100 in case we smoked or had animals. In mid 60’s past the kid party stage. The continental breakfast sucked. Frozen Jimmy Deans, pancakes self service with an unplugged cooker, stale toast, egg muffins. Coffee in the food area was not made until later. Had to use the coffee in the main area. We went to a diner, not much to say about a free “breakfast”.

The top sheet on the bed was not wide enough for 2 sleeping in the bed. We would have appreciated some crockery and cutlery in the room. We would have some vegan options at breakfast eg non dairy milk

The breakfast was ok. There was a mixed variety of things: cereal, fruit, microwavable Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. They also had small muffins, tea, coffee, juice and hot chocolate packets. I was hoping for a buffet style hot breakfast, but what they had was ok.

There was no hot breakfast. The room was great, but it could have been cleaned better. There were opportunities for detailed cleaning that should've been done but was not.

The breakfast was very good. On my second day, though, the breakfast area was not ready at the 6 a.m. opening time. It was only a matter of 10 minutes before the eggs were put out, the door opened, and the TV was turned on. For people on a schedule, 10 minutes makes a difference. Overall, the breakfast was nice.
