The location is excellent — right at the end of downtown Calistoga. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the vineyards we planned to visit: Castello di Amorosa, Sterling Wines, and Chateau Montelena. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-stocked with plenty of towels. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel also features a nice pool and hot tub, which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was a highlight — I was traveling with my parents (65+) and a 6-year-old child, and everyone found something they liked. There were omelets, oatmeal, waffles, butter, cream cheese, muffins, bread, and more. I highly recommend this hotel for families and anyone visiting the Calistoga area.

Just the check-in (4pm) and check-out (11am) time.

Everything. Great place, VERY clean rooms, quality breakfast, close to activities, good managment.

When I called two days prior to my stay I was shocked to be told I did not have a reservation. After I insisted I DID have a reservation, and after a little more study of the reservation list by the front desk attendant, he admitted that my name was in fact entered into the list but in a manner he was not familiar with and then was able to confirm my reservation. Since this trip was to celebrate our anniversary, and had long been planned, I was unsettled to be told - off hand - that I did not have a reservation, through an oversite on the part of this front desk attendant.

Entire staff helpful. Called us to advise about late night check ins after 11pm, and food service staff assisted at breakfast. Easy access for wheelchair, automatic doors, bellman carts readily available. Roll in shower and Ada bathroom roomy enough for easy turns. Plenty of room for the chair in the sleeping quarters, no easing around things with fingers crossed. Appreciated plantation shades, pleasant courtyard, real wine glasses and porcelain-not ceramic -cups We missed the sauna and dry heat rooms d/t late arrival. Excellent coffee, tea,and chocolate offerings with a hot breakfast.

Only downside which is becoming common here in the west, the very comfortable bed is Eastern King (78 x 80 inch long, same length as a queen). At 6'4" (76 inches to start) when your large feet relax, a California king (72x84), fits this traveler better. Tall folks are resigned to places standardizing on the short beds, even Costco no longer sells Cal King mattresses or sheets --guess they think we're getting shorter. Would stay here again regardless!!

Smallish hotel, well built and comfortable. The receptionist on the front desk was fantastic. She gave us lots of tips and was very friendly. She told us about the shuttle in Calistoga that will take you to the various local wineries or wherever you’d like to go in the area - free of change if you are staying at the BW. The pool, jacuzzi and gym were great. Lots of breakfast options and included in the price 😀

Nothing. Everything was good.

Great location on a quiet corner just beyond the Lincoln Avenue shopping district. The rooms are large, comfortable, impeccably clean and everything is in perfect working condition. The grounds are nice, with a clean outdoor heated pool, a spa, and a good quality fitness center. The breakfast was much better than expected for a small hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Really couldn't find anything I didn't like. Totally exceeded my expectations.

This was the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was spotless, even the corners in bathroom! Plenty of towels, good bath products—shower big enough to turn in with no leaking through door to floor. Very complete breakfast and easy walk to town if breakfast offerings weren’t enough. All staff extremely friendly and helpful. My partner enjoyed the hot tub.

Check in was really friendly and we found out there is a free shuttle that goes to and from Castello di Amarosa which was amazing news for us as my husband was going to have to drive it and limit his wine intake! This hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms were large, with a few amenities like a microwave and refrigerator and the beds were so comfortable. The bathroom was also really modern and clean. The breakfast was quite limited in options but everything tasted great and the coffee with French vanilla cream really was the best filter coffee I’ve ever had!! The hotel also has an outdoor pool and fitness centre but we didn’t make use of either. It is a short walk into town approx 10 mins and there are restaurants, wine tasting rooms, bars and shops. I would definitely recommend Best Western Plus Stevenson Manor, thank you for a lovely stay.

One thing that we weren’t overly impressed with though is that they didn’t offer any housekeeping services because we were only staying for 2 nights, we would have expected to at least have our bed made up for the price we were paying! We did get given fresh towels because we asked for them.

The location and room. I like that the orange juice was 100% and fresh fruit.

Breakfast options limited, only whole milk no Almond or coconut milk options and a more wholesome waffle mix. I will not stay in room 116 because it next to housekeeping and when they close the door it made a loud noise.

Good helpful staff; including front desk (humans!), and breakfast crew. the heated pool in January was an unexpected delightful "bonus". The Calistoga "passport" is a super "program".

Little item: Off season, mid week, not full occupancy rates could ideally be discounted a bit further. "Just a suggestion" we were very happy with the visit to your hotel, and Calistoga! Oh, BIG ITEM: Get the local golf course up and running again. It is wonderful and a big attraction.

Our whole stay was amazing! The staff is great, super friendly and helpful. The breakfast had everything you need and was constantly refilled, so everything was fresh. The room was super clean, very spacious and comfortable. The location was great, especially when you’re planning to visit vineyards in the northern part of Napa Valley.
