We loved the staff's sincere service and friendly greetings. They were always helpful towards our needs and made us feel grateful. Since we were planning to head to Fresno next day, it was also a located in a good place. It was a pleasant one day staying.

Since the place was built in long time ago, the facility was a little bit old fashioned in general. Shower room had a door but it was quite shaky and unstable, as if it would collapse in case of collision. Other than that, everything was in high-quality.

I liked the front desk and breakfast staff, the breakfast and the bed were both very good. The housekeeping staff was pushy to get us out of the room at 11:00 even though front desk gave until 11:30 to check out…did not like that either

Shower door in our room needed fixing, public restroom near breakfast area was filthy, and there was no shuttle to or from the airport even though there was a shuttle van parked right in front

This is a seriously underrated hotel! It's was extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. We arrived after a long day of driving from Vegas, to Death Valley to Bakersfield so we we're exhausted. Check in was super quick, our bed was very comfortable and there was no noise whatsoever. I had read reviews about an average breakfast but this was not our experience. Breakfast was exceptional! The selection was simple but delicious -omelette, sausages oatmeal,cereal, bread pastries, waffles, tea, coffee and juices. We had a bit of everything twice, I've honesty never tasted a Breakfast so good.

The bathroom decor is a little outdated but didn't bother us at all

No hot water to take a shower till morning of the 3rd day, but we took a as shower and checked out. Still a good stay . Thank you.

Everyone was a professional they greeted us with a smile. The place was awesome and luxurious. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you for such wonderful people working here.

Excellent parking lot lighting. Very nice lobby. Generally very clean.

The hallway on the 4th floor smelled strongly of petroleum chemicals. Not good for someone with asthma.

Need more bars of soap. Had only 1 and had to transfer back and forth from the sink to the shower. Need a night light in the bathroom. Remove the seats they had at the end of the bed to a different location. Tripped over them 2x during the night. Could present a serious situation.

Whenever we go to Bakersfield we love to stay at the Hampton. Employees are so nice and remember you. Breakfast was awesome, beds were comfortable and the rooms are quiet and clean..

This is so far the best place we have slept in the US. Excellent staff! Especially the fantastic Michael who greeted us. Kind, courteous and exceptionally friendly guy. Great wifi, quiet, exceptionally clean rooms and great (by US standards) breakfast. It was a great pleasure to be hosted at this hotel.
