Location is good.

I booked the property through your platform and noticed that the property is charging a security deposit of USD100, even though the booking was made via Booking.com. I feel this defeats the convenience of booking through your trusted platform, as customers expect that such payments should be streamlined or avoided when using your service. I suggest that Booking.com encourage or require listed properties to either waive security deposits or collect them transparently through your platform itself. This would make the booking process smoother and more customer-friendly.

We stayed for one night in a King Suite and had a great experience. The room was spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed a mini fridge, couch, coffee table, and a convenient desk for getting some work done. The bathroom was roomy, had all the necessities, and felt fresh and clean. The hotel also has a restaurant on the ground floor where we had a breakfast before heading out. Free parking was a huge plus, and the swimming pool looked good too, but we didn’t use it. Overall, everything met our expectations. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing just what we needed after driving for several hours. We’d happily stay here again next time we’re passing through. Highly recommended!

The room was clean, our bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the ice cold air conditioner and indoor pool on a hot day! The sit down restaurant downstairs was nice, and breakfast was a great value for hotel guests. Also, the convenience of having more options of snacks and drinks for sale in the lobby was nice, too. This hotel has a great little gym downstairs, coffee and ice water is served throughout the day in the lobby, and the friendly staff was happy to help us when we needed extra towels. Located close to stores and restaurants, this hotel was a lucky find for us! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Bakersfield for the next concert!

We have zero complaints! My expectations were exceeded during our stay!

What is there NOT to like about this Holiday Inn? This is now my new Hotel to stay at in Bakersfield. I stayed there today for the second time in a week. It is an INCREDIBLE value since it's so incredibly comfortable with a great staff, great beds etc. Great location. But most of it: it has an amazing free breakfast. They don't skimp. I went once when the breakfast was buffet. Today it was ordering off a menu. I've travelled all over the country, a lot of it driving. This is a REALLY SUPERB Holiday Inn at a great price. HIGHLY (and I mean highly) recommended.

Nothing. It was perfect.

I like the set up of the lobby and pool area. The counter people, bar tender, and cook were outstanding. All were very friendly, professional, and ready to help. The bar tender allowed me to sit in the bar area during dinner while I ate dinner, even though I was not drinking. He was as attentive to my Coke Zero as to everyone else’s drinks. I had the most delicious salmon and steamed vegetable dish I have ever had. It was incredible.

The layout of the floors. The elevator to get to the correct floor to go to the lobby was a forever distance from room 203. I was there after a hospital stay for a heart issue. It was such a long walk that I didn’t leave the room much because J didn’t have energy to continue on.

The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was super spacious. Good location to just about everything one would need, I would think.

I would have given this visit a 10/10, but a roach was running around our room on the 2nd floor. I just saw one and it was caught and killed. These things give me the creeps, so then I was worried about seeing more the rest of the night. I know every place can get them from time to time, but usually where there is one, there are more somewhere close. Otherwise, no issues.

Lovely clean spacious room

We booked this hotel as husband has been before and knew it did breakfast , Very disappointed that we paid for breakfast as was told when we arrived the kitchen would be closed and we would have grab bags instead we excepted as no other choice so came down at 7.30am to be told they had all gone but they knew we had paid for breakfast , the gentleman on the desk couldn’t of cared less said “ oh well sorry about that “ other family’s came down at the same time aswell to be told that very poor service

Very clean and well maintained. Bed and pillows were fantastic! Very comfortable. Nice area of town. Staff were pleasant and efficient.

The breakfast at the on-site restaurant was not good. The waitress was as attentive and sweet as she could be, but the food was horribly greasy. Everything, from the eggs to the pancakes, only tasted to the heavy and sticky fat they generously used to cook them and that covered everything.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect—close to everything I needed and easy to get around. The service was great. I stayed in a beautiful suite with a king bed, which was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. The hotel also has a great pool—perfect for relaxing after a day out. delicious breakfast each. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and top-notch hospitality!

I came in really late and the host was very accommodating. The room was not a king room but I didn’t care because I was exhausted. Everything else was fine.

This wasn’t really a dislike but more of a good job to the team making it work for the guests. The breakfast staff did really well but it was obvious they were understaffed. They really did a great service to everyone from what I seen. Thank you for the hard work.
