I liked everything about the hotel... employees very friendly and polite...hotel nice and clean...big beautiful pool...rooms with lot of space and clean....air conditioning worked really good kept my family and I Niiiice and cold....the breakfast was delicious and they serve a good amount of options to choose from...coffee was delicious...price very reasonable and affordable for everything you get....if I could I'll give 10 stars definitely 5 Stars and definitely going back soon...I'm very happy about it... highly recommend.... thank you

The location was perfect for ease to get anywhere in the city, and the staff were so kind, even offering a cookie at check in! The lobby is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are nice too with walk out patio and the pool view, it was perfect for what we needed.

No matter what we did we could not get the room cool enough, the air conditioner is in the corner farthest from the bed so it just seemed warm all night and we could never get the tv figured out. Fortunately it allowed us better conversation but we could also faintly hear the neighbors conversations and tvs.

We enjoyed the stay at Hour Glass Hotel, which has undergone recent renovations. The hotel now boasts a modern style that is both clean and visually appealing. The effort to upgrade the space is evident in the contemporary design choices and overall aesthetic. It has a large pool with lots of comfortable space to relax and soak the sun. The hotel is kept clean and comfortable, and the staff are courteous and helpful. If you're looking for a clean, modern place to stay, Hour Glass Hotel is a decent option, but the quality of the renovations might leave you wishing for a bit more attention to detail if you are detailed oriented person like me.

Attention to detail could be better, but that didn't significantly impact my overall hotel stay experience.

The staff always friendly when we come they remember us and facilities clean my baby love going swimming so pool is a plus

This time around didn’t like the fact that people were eating and drinking inside the actual pool instead of the cabanas provided and that they were taking up the area in the 3ft end of the pool while kids are playing in the deep end of the pool that was not cool and they had their beverage cups and food floating around in the pool

Breakfast didn't impress me. But if. I wanted to have a good breakfast, I would not go to a hotel to get it. Staff interactions were great. I enjoyed the gym, and the jacuzzi. The room also had a jacuzzi, but I didn't get around to enjoy it. That was on me. Great hotel, and the morning front desk girl was awesome. She help me and made my experience staying here that much better.

I didn't like the fact that I didn't have more time to stay here and enjoy this great place even longer.

The staff is outstanding! Excellent customer service. The young lady at the front desk was wonderful! She was cheerful, welcoming, and super helpful! Loved the warm chocolate chip cookies at check-in too! The hotel grounds are really nice and the pool is beautiful. By far, the best hotel for business or short short stay in all of Bakersfield.

The only reason why I didn't rate the hotel a 10 is that the walls are thin. I could hear people in the other rooms and outside by sliding glass window. New windows and sliding doors would help a lot. Also, the pillows were lousy. The waunity and size were ok, they were just way too soft.

You advertised breakfast. It was not breakfast that we think of breakfast; A prepackage Danish, small oranges and apples that didn’t look fresh, Yogurt, bottled juice, and coffee. The coffee was great. You really need to up your game on your advertised Breakfast. We did not like your breakfast!!!👎

We had prepaid our stay, so we were surprised when we were asked to place a $150 deposit for incidentals. We were not even in the hotel for 15 hours. We almost went somewhere else to stay. As we checked out, we made sure we had no balance on our account. We will be checking our charge card on Monday to make sure the full amount was replaced to our account. ☹️

I loved the pool and hot tub, the room looked very nice, and clean. I also liked how there was many entrances/exits to avoid going through the main lobby. The staff we nice and very helpful which made for an easy check in and check out. The view from the balcony was amazing. I’d definitely stay here again!

Staff was amazing - kind and helpful. There was an issue with the pool when we arrived. The pool area was originally the reason we booked the hotel, so this was a huge disappointment. However, staff quickly fixed it and were able to open the pool. Rooms are comfy, clean and huge and we had a balcony overlooking the pool area. The pool area is really great and the pool is huge and deep and thus great for both playing and actual swimming. The fitness room was also good and had more equipment than we have seen in other similar hotels. We also liked the complementary coffee and tea available all offers in reception. This place was around half the price of the surrounding hotels and we got a lot more than we feel that we paid for.

The breakfast is simple and a “take-away” style breakfast with yoghurt, juices, fruit and croissants. It was enough for us, but if you expect a larger breakfast, you need to go out.

This is a very nice hotel, very clean and well-kept property. The layout of the property is excellent, with every room facing the pool and court yard. You can even sit outside on your balcony and enjoy

The breakfast eating area could have been more accommodating and more of a selection of items. I just garbbed and went back to my room. The spa wasn't working, which I use because of my disability but it was fixed the day we left
