The reception staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They responded quickly to WhatsApp messages, were always a pleasure to talk to, and ready to help. The pool was great and clean an clean. The rooms were large and in good condition with all the necessities.

The restaurant for dinner the first night was quite pricey and we had to wait a very long time for our food. The breakfast was okay but it was the same selection every day so it got quite repetitive. There are two restaurants across the road: Retro Bottega and Gusto, both of which are better and more affordable options if you want to eat out!

The location was excellent!Relaxing and quiet!The pool area is the exactly what is needed after a tour in the busy areas in Amalfi Coast and Pompei.Kids loved it!Breakfast was very good.Comfort Chalet was really great and comfy.Airconditioned made no noise and the nights were perfect to sleep and recharge for the next tour!Is highly recommended,especially if want to be away from the massive crowds around Sorrento and Amalfi Coast. Anything you need the reception responded immediately to our questions. There is a private shuttle bus (a white mini van) running from Meta train station (2€each) to the Resort (usually is from the station to Meta beach) but if you get on biard and tell them to the Resort will take you.Also from the Resort ask the reception and they can call them to pick you to go to the Meta train station ( if you want to go to Pompei,Naples or Sorrento) of to Meta beach.

The public buses are a little bit tricky!Still a mystery for us the timetables and routes!The best solution we found is the bus No.008 Massa Lubrese-Sorrento(the big bus because there is a smaller one with the same number but runs from Marina Piccola to Marin Grande-rarely!!!!) Stop(Fermata) No.15 which is outside to a pharmacy (Via Angelo Cosenza, 2/4, 80062 Meta NA, Italy) and takes you to historic center of Sorrento(need to get off at Via degli Aranci, 18, 80067 Sorrento NA, Italy (after the stop outside hotel Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto) and you will see an arche, which leads you to the main pedestrian streed in historic Sorrento centre.

Everything was fantastic! The accommodation - small individual cabins/bungalows/villas (only approx 50) - no large buildings with hundreds of rooms - so it did not feel overcrowded. Hotel grounds are expansive, very well kept, with stunning views of the sea and mountains. The pool - large and clean with enough loungers and umbrellas, never overcrowded. Although we did not travel with pets it is lovely to see that the hotel is pet friendly - all the dogs seemed very relaxed and comfortable - so did all the adorable local cats! All staff (reception / restaurant / pool area / cleaners / maintenance) very polite, helpful and friendly. We especially liked Valentina (pool area) and Natalia (cleaner). The food was lovely (a bit pricey, but similar to all nearby restaurants). Any minor issues that we had were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Our front door handle broke but was fixed within minutes, our friends' minibar was not cooling - it was replaced immediately... The location is very convenient to settle if you want to explore other areas - Sorrento, Capri, Pompeii, Amalfi Coast (Positano, Amalfi, Atrani, Ravello, Minori etc) We are DEFINITELY coming back to repeat and expand on this wonderful experience. The photos on the website do not do it justice - everything has exceeded our expectations! Sopramare Resort - thank you for having us!!!!

Can't think of anything negative to mention....

Everything, from the first minute we arrived. Lisa, checked us in and was fantastic during our weeks holiday. The grounds were lovely overlooking 2 Marinas. The Chalet was lovely and overlooked a small bay with lovely views. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and all staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Lisa helped us to book our trips and the tour company was excellent. Overall a brilliant holiday. I have no hesitation in recommending Sopramare for a nice relaxing holiday.

The area is really nice, it really exceeded our expectations. Rooms were small but clean and comfy. There are front porches for each house which is really nice for chilling. Pool was clean.

Location is not great if you don't have a car. Public transportation is not good to go to the location. And we couldn't find where or when the busses pass. You need to walk 15 minutes from the train station. If you want to go to the sorrento port, taxi might be the best option and it can take 15 mins I guess(we didn't use it). If you use the train to go to sorrento port, considerind the train hours and walking distances, it can take up to an hour or a little more than an hour. There are also electric bikes to rent, but they were a bit pricey.

Great posh style glamping cabin room, great shower, with lovely terrace to sit out. . Excellent pool and pretty surroundings with nice areas to relax and dine in restaurant. Good variety of food for breakfast Nice cocktails at the pool bar.. There are also two nice restaurants across the road from the resort and a little spar that has lovely local cheeses, cold meats, bread,s and olives. Great shuttle service from resort to metamare beach. Marco in reception was very nice and let me store my bags for a few hours after checkout. Marco also let me use the pool for a discounted price after checkout. Thank you, Marco!

Overpriced sandwiches and salads at pool snack bar. You pay between 15 and 23 for tnem. Bed a little uncomfortable.

Clean, tidy and convenient. Super amazing reception staff and pool bar staff. It was modern, air con worked amazing and the room we booked was spacious and clean!

Restaurant manager was rude and rolled his eyes when we asked to split the bill at the end of dinner. We had an amazing experience the first night we dined there but the second was the polar opposite experience. Even got charged for drinking non bottled water! Shower in the room jumped between hot and cold but it wasn't too bad if you let it run for a while!

Me and my fiancée stayed for four nights. Location is great as we went to day trips to pompei, south coast villages, sorrento & Capri. - kind in the middle of them all. The resort itself is beautiful and very well tended the garden is amazing, and so is the view. Very peaceful place, staff are very nice and ready to help when ever needed. The room met our expectations & is cleaned daily. Pool looked amazing, breakfast was good coffee was excellent and they have bar services through out the day for very reasonable prices. We truly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend Sopramare any day to anyone. Thanks again!

The property is set in stunning gardens with a fabulous view of the bay. The pool is absolutely beautiful. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. This place is ideally located for getting into anywhere you may want to visit as the train station is a 10 min walk. What we did like is that you can chose wether to have breakfast each day or not if you want to go out and you just pay for the days you have it. There is a spar 5 mins away that you can stock up with drinks/snacks for your room ( a small fridge is provided)

We only marked this down on comfort as our room was very small and we didn’t really have space to unpack properly and we were climbing over our suitcases! However, we need to be honest as we chose that room. We plan to return and would upgrade so this wouldn’t be an issue. The smaller rooms are more suited to travellers who are travelling light and having maybe one or two days to visit Sorrento or Pompeii

Staff was very friendly : Marco and all the team at the reception desk; Giusy and her team for the cleaning; and the breakfast team Giulia, Ida and Antonella, ALL were great ! General location perfect to visit amalfitian peninsula, far away from the crasy roads of the South side of peninsula and their parking nightmare, but still at very accessible distance to Sorrento, Amalfi, Vesuvio etc. Super convenient parking with always available slots. Room was very confortable, with efficient airco, fridge etc. Very quiet, super well acoustically insulated from next rooms and the neighborhood. Private terrasse in front of the room, with shadow from an big olive tree, wonderful ! Nice big park with garden chairs, at shadow, and view on the see, exceptional ! Cleaning was very good. Swimming pool not too crowded, with always chairs at shadow available. Very clean as well. Buffet style breakfast with plenty of different things, both salty and sweet. Home made cakes, fresh fruits etc, very good !!!

Only details !!! Swimming pool could open a bit earlier (currently open at 10h) to allow swimming before the end of the breakfast (currently closed at 10h30). Long chairs on the terrasse would bring extra confort. A chair/seat inside the room would be a +.
