The property is clean and in a very good location. The rooms are simple but have everything you need. They were cleaned every day. Some rooms are better than the others. We had four rooms and oneof them was with a sea view - that was a great room with an amazing view! Breakfast is also simple but has plenty of options. The location is great as there are tours to Amalfi coast and Capri leaving from the harbour near the hotel. You can reach the harbour on foot or by the elevator. I’m especially pleased with the staff - they were friendly and helpful. Angela helped us with the tours so everything was smooth. Thank you!

Maybe the beds could be a little softer but as we were so tired by the evening it didn’t affect us.

We really loved our stay in Hotel Cosmomare! The staff were friendly and accommodating. There was a good range to eat during the continental breakfast (lovely homemade cakes, fruit, bread, boiled eggs, sliced salami and cheese and cereal). They also offered lactose-free milk. Even though they have a coffee machine, they are accommodating by making you an espresso or caffe macchiato from the bar. Our room was spacious enough for 3 people, and had a large balcony with a beautiful garden view. Our room was also cleaned and made up everyday, with fresh towels provided every day! The hotel is around a 10 minute walk to the train station, where you can either take the train to the centre of Sorrento or to Naples and Pompei. There is also a port at the bottom of the hotel (you can either walk or pay for a lift down) where you can take boats/ferries to Capri and other places.

Beds were adequate for a 3-star hotel, but could have been more comfortable.

Great hotel with spectacular views. The sea view is exceptional. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Underground car parking is great and keeps your car cool in the summer months. Lovely breakfast. It's location is 10min walk from the train station which can take you to Pompeii or Sorrento, there is an elevator 2 min walk from the hotel to take you down to the harbour which has a lovely beach and restaurants. Directly across from the hotel is the archaeological museum and garden which had live music every night, a lovely bar and a perfect place to watch the sun set each evening.

The hotel is on the 5th floor, there is a lift and stairs. It's a little tricky to find at the beginning but is worth it!

- Mattress was a little too hard for our taste. Still, this is only to our preference - In 1-2 evenings during the August week there were parties on the beach which can be heard till late at night. Nothing the hotel can do about though.

We had a lovely room with a balcony! Our view was amazing of the ocean, hawk in the tree and sunsets! The Breakfast room had the same amazing view. The food and coffee were good but no hot food was offered which was fine for me. The room was cleaned everyday. The Hotel is up on the fifth floor which was why the view was so amazing. The Elevator is small but worked very well. We booked a tour of Positano, Amalfi Coast and lunch in Ravello with the hotel and it was amazing. There are a few restaurants close by. The Train station is about a 10 minute walk. So easy to go to Sorrento or Naples/Pompei. I walked into Sorrento one day and it took about 35 minutes. Our area (Piano di Sorrento) was a little quieter than Sorrento but the price was great!

The location was not far from Sorrecto town - one stop with the local train and the station is about 12 mins walk away. Good size room with a nice balcony and view was amazing. We encountered a slightly unclean and smelly bathroom/toilet which we complained about and they took it very well and even offered some free wine as an apology. The breakfast buffet was with a good selection and very good service. As I have a specific diet I asked to get some cheese on a seperate plate and it was generously provided all three of the days we were there. They also have their own coffee machine where you can request espresso which is icing on the cake when in Italy.

The fact that we came into a room with a bathroom that wasn't cleaned didn't give us a good first impression but it has to be said that they handled our complaint really well and overall it was a nice and comfortable stay.

We had a great stay at this hotel! As soon as we arrived, the staff gave us informations about the bus & trains schedule and also the activities that you could do there, such as visiting Capri, the Amalfi coast and many more! The room was clean and spacious. And the views…incredible! The hotel is located 10 minutes away from the train station, in a peaceful area, with restaurants and a market nearby. Also, the breakfast was great and more than enough to keep you full for an entire day of visiting! We will definitely come back here next year!

The view is incredible and beautiful specially higher floors with ocean view. Plus it is just above the beach and walking distance to take the boat to Capri island. Love the location so totally recommend for location and also service and room was good.

Breakfast could be much better. having the view has so much value to enjoy a good breakfast. The AC wasn’t working properly in the room that I wish there is more attention on that I know there is elevator but if someone leave the door open. It doesn’t work and there is no ring inform the front desk to help. I think they care put more instructions for people to not forget to keep the doors closed or they can install a bell.

This family run hotel felt like a cozy home away from home. We were so impressed with the level of comfort and attention to detail. Angela, Stefania and others staffs were accommodating, friendly, and helpful. We booked a balcony room with breathtaking sea view which was spacious, beautiful and clean. We loved relaxing and winding at the balcony with drinks and cocktails after a long day excursion and sightseeing. Strongly recommend book your home away from home now with Cosmomare while you in Sorrento.

The room comes with the balcony and a very spacious room. It was a great location and the staff was really, really very helpful. They provided and explained with the map and how to travel. Excellent support from the team. Kudos and thank you. Location is amazing.

A kettle in the room should have been a help for some late night coffees and snacks if we want.
