If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would! Yes, the building is older, but its charm, the fantastic location, and—most of all—the wonderful people who work there more than make up for it. You truly get what you pay for, and in this case, it was worth every euro. From the very beginning, communication was smooth and helpful. The staff made a genuine effort to accommodate our needs. We were even able to upgrade to a sea-view room, and the view was simply amazing—it made our stay even more special. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, with enough variety to start your day right. It’s not fancy, but everything was fresh, clean, and well-prepared. The manager and front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with a smile. On the day we were leaving, we couldn’t find a taxi—but the staff kindly drove us to the train station themselves. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and we appreciated it more than words can say. We stayed for 9 nights, and not once did we regret our choice. I’m genuinely happy we chose Hotel Klein Wien, and I would definitely return.

The staff was all great, so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, well attended by the staff and a very wide array of food and drink options. Dinner was also fantastic, great table service by the staff and delicioius food. The view from our room was incredible.

Having to carry our bags up one flight was slightly inconvenient, but not that big of a deal. The air conditioner in our room was very noisy. They tried to make it better, but it just needs to be replaced, I think, it sounds like it's worn out. And the outlets in the room were difficult, we plugged our cords into them and because they were old and worn out, the plugs fit loosely into them, so when you let go of the cord, the plugs would back out slightly, and our devices wouldn't charge.

Views from property. Lovely, helpful staff. Slept well, as not too noisy with people coming in late.

Area was rather too quiet, with hardly any good selection of restaurants within a good walk. (Staff in pizzeria beneath restaurant ignored me 2nd visit, so I got up and left after 15 mins- not sure if they are anything to do with hotel, but they spoilt my visit).

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They speak many languages. The roof top terrace has an astonishing view. The breakfast is very good for the price. Not a very big selection of goods, but everything is fresh and high quality. The location is also good, 5 mins walk to piano port (Ferry to Capri) and 15 min walk away from Piano train station

Well, the terrace where you can have your breakfast is breathtaking, overlooking the magnificent Bay of Naples. The breakfast was excellent with a vast range of pastries, cakes, and for desperate (perhaps boring!) English people there is even a chance to have full English with scrambled eggs and bacon. Katie and his staff are amazing to look after their guests with courtesy and professionalism.

Breakfast very good with eggs, sausagges, bacon, pastries, croassants, fruits, yogurt, cereals, coffee, juce. Excelent view from the balcony, and from the breakfast restaurant. Very large room with confortable beds. Near the beach, and the port. Personal helpfull and very sweet.

The location was perfect, right beside the port and beaches, and it's worth paying a bit extra to get the terrace sea view as it's incomparable to the other rooms. The food at the restaurant was quite good and cheap and the personnel was very helpful with anything you asked for.

Breakfast could be a bit more diverse and the rooms must be refurbished as they are pretty old, but nevertheless clean and you're not going on vacation to spend your days sitting in the room.

Very friendly people. Excellent location. Eventhough a bit dated it was very comfortable and the view from my terrace was spectacular, The best value for money on the Amalfi coast and around.I already booked the next stay …

The showerhead in the bathroom is old and should be replaced.

The Hotel is located in Piano di Sorrento right across the road from the cliff edge looking across the ocean. You could not get a better view. It faces more west than the Sorrento hotels so you get a much better view of the sunset while sitting on your bedroom balcony (if this is what you have booked). Also the staff are exceptionally friendly, you get greeted personally by name each morning and night and anything you need is arranged quickly and without hassle. I needed a last minute booking by boat to Amalfi and Positano, the booking was made and confirmed in 15 mins and it was a great tour. The staff in the restaurant in the hotel and in the pizza cafe below were very friendly and I had one of the best pasta meals I have had in Italy. Specific mention to one of the young guys in the restaurant/cafe who was very attentive and friendly and looked after me throughout the 4 days with great service. Also thanks to the two managers who constantly looked after me.

The hotel is not a modern 2022 standard and the rooms are basic as is the restaurant decor, it is not that I didn't like it, it is just worthy of setting expectations and the very reasonable price reflects the hotel standard, but you will not get a better view for the price and I would not hesitate to stay here again. There is not really anything I didn't like.
