Highly recommend for short time visitors but especially long time traveller's! + I liked the extremly green and huge property. There is everything you might wish to have: big Pool, billiard, restaurant (all day long), bar, badminton, laundry service,... The manager is really open, friendly and plans beautiful tours around the area. The whole stuff is extremly friendly. Felt like at home during my stay! (Booked for one night and stayed for 12). Stayed in the hostel and had a private room for myself for the same price. Hostel is simple but good. I've seen the Villa and the private bungalows as well and they're really nice, clean and spacious.

Perhaps the best place for budget travellers at Diani Beach. I had a great time in Kijani Cottages. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful; for instance, they organized taxis, made a restaurant reservation and helped me to book a bus. The food was good and reasonably priced. The beach is close by (10 minute walk). I especially liked the big pool and the nice garden (with monkeys).

Kijani Cottages was a breath of fresh air, very good location and peaceful setting. I slept very well listening to the bird song, the wildlife here is lovely. Great value for money, friendly and hard-working staff and good facilities.

The shower in the hostel upstairs needs a little attention but otherwise comfortable stay.
