Convenient location, a lot of activities and restaurants within walking distance. Nice staff. Pool temp was very nice, whirlpool was relaxing. Bed was comfortable.

Was disappointed in the condition of the hotel for the price. Granted, I had a cheaper room but it was very small, closet had room for only about 3 items with the two provided robes. Bathroom sink was cracked. Furniture has a lot of wear. There was a glop of toothpaste? on the bathroom wall. Elevator carpet was dirty around the edges. Patio outside the pool area was very disappointing, not used to its potential.

The rooms were redone in "timely" reality. Riverboat Bar's manager up on drink knowledge, personality, professional friendliness. Outside seating wonderful, enjoyed trains...memories from my childhood :) Caroline's had time in a bottle presentations and wonderful little amenities, food excellent, wonderful discount for hotel guests. If front desk couldn't accommodate, were Very friendly and helpful in giving updates. Was appreciated since I did not get River or City view, but a side building view, a lower price...THANK YOU.

Beautiful historic hotel. Great location - was able to walk to the aquarium and local shops. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice room. Comfortable bed. Nice robes with the room. Beautiful city view. Lots of windows in the room - very nice. Free easily accessible parking.

Other reviews talked about the heat, microwave, etc. Some of the negative reviews almost made me not stay here. I'm glad I didn't listen. The heat is a minor inconvenience. The temperature of the room was fine. I survived without a microwave. This is a great historic hotel. Really glad we stayed here.

Hotel Julien is a beautifully restored old hotel. We park ed in their lot across the street, had happy hour (half priced) drinks on the gorgeous outdoor deck, slept so comfortably I woke up thinking I was at home and the next morning walked to a lovely breakfast spot, that introduced us to the huge weekly Farmer's Market. Everything was great!

When we turned down the bed, the sheet was stained, an old stain, but still. We pulled it off and used the one around the duvet instead, so no problem.

Excellent place in the centre of this charming town. Very comfortable, good sized room and the free parking just across the road is a real bonus. The town is great for a stroll with plenty of bars and some good restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Check in was poor with the receptionist completely ignoring me for some time. In the morning we realised that she had given us some coupons which we then couldn't use. She did have time, however, to tell her associate that she had to use the bathroom.

Beautiful inside and out. Very welcoming. Staff were very friendly from check in to the maid service across the hall at upon leaving. Very nice easy/smooth checkin and checkout.

Wedding must have been at property so parking was a nightmare when we got back after a long day at ball tournament and had to search for spots. Frustrating! Bed was a little hard but with all the pillows we made it happen and slept well. Bar peeps across the street were not quiet and we were in the 7th floor.

The hotel is beautifully restored. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and convenient. The location couldn’t have been easier for us.

It’s always difficult to maintain such an expansive property once it’s been thoughtfully restored to its former glory. That said, there were several cosmetic issues that easily got our notice and could have been rectified quickly if there was a proactive maintenance plan in place.

Beautiful Hotel! Very clean and a very friendly, helpful staff. The restaurant, Caroline's, was delightful! The location is perfect.

I would give it a 5 star plus review, but the bed was extremely hard! We travel a lot. I'm sorry to say this bed was the worst I've slept on. I would love to visit again and take in the spa if the beds are updated. Until then, it's a HARD no for us. Comfort is a must.

I liked the view of the river from my room. And the quietness of my room. I liked that the air was central with no under window unit.

Only one elevator was operating on Sunday morning. The wait on the 5th floor was extremely long. Also my family does not do buffet and we were looking forward to your full menu on Sunday which was not available. Other issue was staff at the hostess stand disagreeing about customer placement.

Super fabulous historic building with a rich history! The lobby was stunning. The room had modern furnishings that managed to still fit the feeling of the building. Nice area right downtown. Plenty of parking considering it’s in the middle of the downtown area.

Somehow I can’t really think of anything. No breakfast was included (they did have a pretty pricey cafe where you could buy breakfast, but we didn’t), but I understand why they didn’t and that it would hike up the price of the stay if they did have breakfast. The pool was too cold- that’s all I can think of.
