My room was a good size, comfortable and had everything I needed. Dinner was good, home cooked and seemed fresh, with fresh veg, always a bonus. A nice touch at breakfast is the choice of continental, light or large, which is great if you want more than cereal but not a full English The hard working multitasking staff were friendly and helpful. All in all a good stay

when i first entered my room it was like a sauna. the outside temperature had dropped a couple of days before, but was then mild again. It fet wronf to open the window to cool it down but I had to.

The staff were exceptionally attentive, approachable, friendly and very accommodating. From arrival to leaving they made our stay fantastic. There was a residents private garden. We had the best sleep ever, the beds are so comfortable, every amenities we needed. It was in an ideal location, with a walk through the park to the town. Very dog friendly too with a sausage each for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious too.

There was absolutely nothing at all to dislike, this hotel has got it all, the staff are an asset and clearly take pride in being part of the team. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back.

Great, quiet location just a short walk through an open park to the main town, restaurants and railway station. Easy, off-road parking. Helpful, friendly staff. Good pub-style food.

The mess the local pigeons and seagulls made of my car. Certainly not the hotel's fault. My fault, probably, for parking under a tree. The staff very kindly lent me a sponge and a bucket and provided water to clean it off.

The hotel is located close to the town and the room was clean and what we expected. Breakfast was fine but if you are used to a sumptuous buffet then you will be disappointed. However, given that it is a 3 star hotel, what they offer is good and the poached eggs were good. The staff were lovely and really helpful. Although the bar was closed when we returned after an evening out as they had only just closed the bar we were offered the option to order a drink.

Nothing really although I would suggest that it is not a walkable distance into the main town unless you are relatively fit. It would take approximately 25 minutes to walk in. There are however lots of places to park.

Lovely, quaint building and the rooms were decorated to match that. The hotel is a situated back from the road down a private drive but is very easy to find. We were greeted by a cheery lady on reception and easily found our room. It was a good size with a great shower. The room was spotlessly clean. Parking is limited near the entrance but you can park along the drive leading up to the hotel. It’s only about a 15 minute walk into the town

I’m being very picky as everything else was great. The bed was a standard double, as advertised, but the headboard was longer than the bed. The room would accommodate a larger bed. Having a superking at home, a double always feels quite small. I personally would be happy to pay extra for a king size.

The Room was big enough, the chair was probably not needed and would have given a bit more space, as the bed was very comfortable and big, breakfast was very tasty and plenty of choice on the buffet, hot food came out of the kitchen still hot!! Dinner was delicious and good value for money. The entertainment in the bar was a bonus as we didn't know there would be any when we booked.

Some of the decor is starting to look a bit 'tired', if I was picking fault. Need a kick of paint at some point.

They were really helpful when our arrangements changed. Our father was ill in hospital and we needed a base to come and go when necessary. They were really accommodating and extended our booking and let us check in early after a night at the hospital. They were very kind. The bar is lovely and the breakfasts are good.

Nothing everything was good.

What a lovely hotal to stay at, the room was tidy and clean. The bed was comfy even for me. The area is really peaceful and there's a couple of nice medium sized places to sit and relax, some table and chairs to use. Will return when suits. Breakfast was very nice, little fry up to start the day off was fine. A range or hot or cold drinks to suit.

Really enjoyed our stay here. very clean and nicely presented hotel with lovely staff.

My only personal comment that it would have been nice to have more vegan options available on the breakfast buffet, i.e. yogurts. And defiantly some proper non-dairy milk available rather than just tiny soya sachets. It was not really possible to have cereal as it would have taken 15-20 of the small sachets of milk and this was a little unreasonable to sit and do that.

Very quiet hotel, set back from the road. Our room was small but perfectly adequate for one night. The shower room was also small but everything worked. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent; not too expensive either (from £7.50 to £12:50 from memory, depending on choice). And I enjoyed my pint of Adnams Stout in the bar! We were attending a concert at Sandringham and the hotel enabled early check-in for us, which was brilliant. There is secure card-access after-hours. Electric vehicle charging in two of the parking spaces was a bonus (at a reasonable cost).

The car park was a bit small but there was additional space in the access road. No air conditioning in the room (it's an old building) but luckily the weather cooled down and it was quiet enough to have the windows open. However, we did hear minor noise from the neighbouring room, which is a consequence of the old building I guess; my trusty earplugs solved that!
