Lovely room very clean in an excellent location for exploring the North Norfolk coast breakfast & evening meal was ample & very well presented with fresh ingredients we booked here because it's dog friendly & all the staff made a fuss of our little furball shout out to Eloise who greeted us when we arrived a very pleasant helpful & professional young girl who goes above & beyond to make sure your stay is perfect she's a star & an absolute credit to the company & also Claire who was our wonderful breakfast host very chatty friendly & attentive a wonderful stay & look forward to returning soon

Booked the King William as it was close to friends we were meeting in the evening in a nearby village. The whole establishment was clean and had a cosy feel to it as you walked through the door. Staff very friendly and helpful. we booked two rooms, the second was made into two singles for my grown up sons. The rooms were very clean, cosy with all the amenities. We didn't have an evening meal as we visited our friends, the breakfast however was a very good full English. Cereal, fruit and pastries were also at hand. service was good, but it wasn't that busy time of our breakfast. A large private car park was also a plus for me. I would recommend The King William and will more than likely use it again myself. I have stopped in other venues in this area, the King William is by far the best.

We liked everything

We booked a superior double room and wasn’t disappointed . It was a great size with lots of nice little touches to make it homely . Tea and coffee facilities and it was a lovely shower .Room was made up while we were out . We ate in the pubs restaurant and had several drinks in the Bar . We booked the room with the breakfast option included , also had an evening meal and a Very tasty Sunday lunch . It was very clean and all the staff were attentative .

We felt the food was very good and tasty but a little over priced for the portion sizes . Soup served in a small cup was over priced at £7 .

Nicely presented bar and restaurant areas. Room a good size with plenty of storage space and very clean. Dinner menu good. Very good location for Hunstanton/North Norfolk coast (West) with easy access with a few minutes drive to Hunstanton. Large car park. Attractive village, worth a little stroll around in itself.

Restaurant service was a bit slow on first evening. Shower wasn't functioning and this seemed to be a recognised, possibly wider, problem as we were told there was a plumber on the way... Fortunately sorted out by the second afternoon.

The hotel and especially the room was exceptionally clean so many compliments to the housekeeping. As an ev driver I think the time has come when the hotel group should think about providing a charging point in their car parks. Dispite what I have written above we were very happy with the quality of the food and the freshness of the vegetables.

Timing of last orders for dinner on Sunday nights for residents. We were first asked to be at our table by 7pm on the night before, the following day I received a phone call to alter the time to 630pm. On arriving at 6.30 we were told last orders were normally 6pm and that the beef had run out and 15 minutes after ordering a particular wine were told they had run out.

The mngr was so friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. Showed us to our room, explained all safety issues. Excellent decor. Excellent air con, needed in October!! Room too warm. Big safe car park. Good bar and restaurant in a quiet village.

(We did book late, last room to rent out) Leak from radiator in bathroom. WC seat not fixed. Not correct for loo. Had a problem with no guest internet connection. BT had cut lines on Friday. No internet in hotel. Manager did everything he could to reconnect with use of old phone from home. No card payment in restaurant, caused havoc but mngr overcame. Fantastic man. He has turned hotel around since April 2023. Fabulous place.

Hello We have returned home today after spending a short 1 night stay (room 4) including evening meal and this morning  an excellent breakfast served by Claire, she was very friendly, helpful and extremely competent, please pass on our thanks to her. Would have liked a bigger choice of evening meal

Super staff, always helpful and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very comfortable with a garden view. Beautifully furnished with ample tea and coffee facilities. Although the hotel is located on a main road, there is little traffic even during the day and so peaceful at night. Hunstanton and Sandringham are both within a short drive. |Bruce, the manager and Claire who served us breakfast each day were a fantastic team.

When we walked into the King William it was a lovely surprise as the bar area was not like walking into a public house. The room was clean, tidy and dressed beautifully with a couple of nice touches - the radio was playing very quietly and housekeeping had left a little note to say enjoy your stay. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu and although we didn’t have dinner there the dining area was very impressive. We would definitely stay there again.

Bathroom radiator didn’t seem to get hot but we were only there one night so not a big problem.

Room was spacious, comfortable, ceiling fans really helped keep it cool, nice old features, bar/reception staff excellent who resolved some issues.

We found the food little expensive, quiz night was on that we weren’t aware of so while having dinner the music went off and we had to listen to questions being read out, this also impacted on the service in the restaurant which was non existent for most of the evening, food took forever,
