A lovely building and plenty of outside space Room was lovely Friendly staff

The food at dinner was disappointing. The fish overcooked and the paella more like a risotto Not keen on dogs and we were unaware our room was in a a dog friendly space .

Clean, fresh and inviting. Good parking. The breakfast was excellent and we had dinner on all three nights and every choice was exceptional. The staff are very welcoming, most of whom we have seen in the three years we have been coming, and make us feel very special and well cared for. The area is lovely and close to birding sites and lovely coastal walks. Perfect place to be

Dogs, but they and their owners seemed well catered for. My concern is that they will take over the facilities and we will have to fit in with them.

I loved the hotel and where it is situated. The staff were lovely and interacted well with us. I paid for a luxury room and it really was lovely. The bed was so comfortable.

The rooms where 99% clean. Im picky but the fridge needed to be cleaned, and there was coffee splash on a wall. There was also some random bits of glitter on the floor but we all know how hard it is to get glitter up. Food in the restaurant my partner loved but as a rossette start restaurant I expected a little more. Maybe I just ordered the wrong dishes but I found my main really salty.

Beautiful hotel had three lovely nights there sadly on our fourth night a large group of rowdy guests from a boxing club checked in and partied all night not giving a care who they kept awake or upset. Not the fault of the hotel but maybe they should monitor their group bookings a little better as most other clients were elderly and quiet. We were not the only people to complain about this group. They began to be disruptive in the bar early on in that evening, swearing and being loud. We feel the manager should have clamped down on the group then but sadly they didn’t.

The room is lovely and spacious, and we have never been in a bathroom so big. Gorgeous surroundings. Friendly happy staff. Helpful guide folder in the room. They provided a fan as we arrived on a really hot day. Lovely breakfast with all you need.

Its not i didn't like, I just could have been pre warned...where the non slip mat is for the shower. We discovered the shower was so slippy. We found it in the cupboard after showers lol. And there weren't any sweetener in the cute bag of tea and coffee, so I just waited till breakfast for a tea.

Everything from start to finish met with our requirements, the buildings and quiet location was exactly what we needed for a much needed break. The food at breakfast and evening meals were of good quality and well prepared with others who had specific needs or preferences were well catered for. The waiting staff were all very friendly and efficient. I made a mistake when paying my bill and on the card machine gratuity button I entered my pin number by mistake leaving a substantial tip the management reviewed this and thought it was probably a mistake came into the breakfast room told me about it and rectified something that they had no obligation to do I applaud their honesty and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Punching above its weight as a 3 star hotel. A luxury room is worth the extra money with huge bathroom, comfortable 6ft bed and sofa. Refurbished to a nice standard. Staff were friendly and professional. We preferred our night here to a previous visit to The Hoste…which is a lot more expensive! Great location easily walkable to the beach. Good for gluten free: toast and croissants available at breakfast on request. 👏🏻

It is dog friendly, which wasn’t an issue for us as dog lovers, but worth bearing in mind you may see and hear the odd pooch. Coffee at breakfast could be improved in quality at breakfast. Fresh milk and bottled water in the room fridge would have been a nice touch. All these points are minor constructive suggestions. We recommend a stay at The Caley.

We had a Sunday/Monday night break and got a good deal. There were not many guests and it was very quiet, perfect. We ate at the Mariners Inn so can't really comment on the evening meal but breakfast was good. The Monday breakfast was served but Tuesday was a buffet, I preferred the served breakfast but both were good. The hotel will match any prices (apparently) on these types of sites, we didn't know this beforehand so I'm not sure if there's any advantages to this but we'll go back and try this option next time. A great stay. In a warm/welcoming venue.

Location was superb. Excellent place to be located to reach all the local North Norfolk must sees. 5 mins drive away from Drove Orchards with the famous Eric’s fish and chips, pizza, ice cream shop and a new excellent taco place. 10mins walk round to Old Hunstanton beach which happily for our dog was dog friendly and large stretches of sand so plenty of space for the whole family. Breakfast was really good, simple selection but good quality, hot food was hot and fresh each morning and cooked well. No complaints at all. Staff were friendly and helpful. Staff were doing maintenance around the hotel grounds daily which is always great to see that they are putting in the effort to maintain the property to a good standard. Lots of cleaning, sweeping and everyone we passed greeted us in a friendly manner. Cleaning of rooms were done to a high standard.

Rooms could have been a little bit bigger but it was fine for a couple of nights stay where we spent a lot of time exploring the local area. Our main priority was a good location and dog friendly which the hotel was perfect for on both points.

We had an excellent stay at Caley Hall. We booked a Superior room with breakfast. The room was immaculate, beautifully presented and incredibly large and clean. The ensuite was also huge, with a bath and a shower in it, also impeccably clean. We chose to have dinner here as well, the food was all delicious with a good choice of options and was presented beautifully, as was the breakfast. Great quality produce as well. We loved that the menu had abbreviations underneath showing you what allergens where in every dish, they also checked if we had any dietary requirements when we came into the restaurant. The staff here are amazing, really friendly, helpful and attentive, nothing seemed like too much trouble. It is a gem of a hotel, we absolutely loved it.
