Lovely staff. Helpful, friendly. They even moved some clothes I left in the closet from my other reservation/room (# 7) from 17th and 18th June to the room (#12) I moved into with my wife on 19th June. Pretty, well-appointed and spacious room (#12) and bathroom (19 June). A good old-fashioned bath as well as a shower which is great to have, as so many hotels have done away with them.
Mattress on king bed. Sagging slightly on right side. £27.00 for 2 large G and T's! Exorbitant and crazy prices though I accept this (bar price rip off) is the norm everywhere nowadays. Quite a pricey ££ restaurant with mixed food quality - e.g. a superb, wonderful main course but spoiled a little by gritty, unchilled (not on bed of ice you'd expect for the ££ paid) oysters. Impossible to get taxis - even 3-4 hours before needed - to other places e.g. for dinner.

Liked absolutely everything, staff so very friendly and helpful very welcoming. All rooms are absolutely beautiful had the privilege to be shown around some different rooms some with patio area, and own private spas. Breakfast was amazing the bar area is so welcoming and cosy inside and out. Beautiful garden to sit and relax, lovely relaxing areas inside the hotel. The full manor is so beautiful, local to lots of different places to visit. Also have dog friendly rooms not that I own a dog! Found this little gem at the last min of booking somewhere to stay.
The only thing I didnt like was our pillows were abit hard making sleeping abit uncomfortable to sleep, but I was told you can ask to change them by a member at reception.

The breakfasts were excellent, but considered the meal a bit pricey especially with the addition of a 12.5% service charge. However this was discretionary. Our room was spacious and was tidied each day. Would re book.
Our first evening was marred by our table (booked for 7.30pm) already having guests at it. We eventually sat down at 8pm, the dining room was hardly busy so I’m sure we could have been accommodated earlier. It appeared there was a staff shortage, with the staff at the bar helping in the dining room.

Our room was a good size with a separate bathroom. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and cushions. Parking was very close to the room with EV charging available. Breakfast was very good indeed, with lovely breakfast staff too. In fact all the staff were very friendly and responsive. Dinner we had in our room, due to one of us having to temporarily use 2 crutches, and was very, very good. The courses were delivered to our room as we requested, so we ate them at the right temperature. The local RSPB reserve is 2 minutes away, and is a "must" to visit.
Any negatives were only minor. An annoying noise occasionally in our room, and toilet paper not being replaced. This was attended to.

The hotel was so cosy and welcoming in early January with open fires everywhere. The design and overall atmosphere in the common areas was lovely. We stayed in one of the Good rooms in the converted building opposite the bar, which again had been designed really well. Everything we needed for a short stay, it was also nice and warm on a very cold weekend. We loved the toiletries in the bathroom, good selection of tea & coffee, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good and the staff we encountered were all friendly snd helpful. Overall we thought it was great value for money and a fantastic location.
The bathroom, whilst spotless and fully functional, felt a bit stark and somewhat of an afterthought for such a nicely designed bedroom.

Really liked the set up. Lovely sized room which was well looked after. The restaurant and bar had a really lovely atmosphere and the whole stay was relaxing. The restaurant was great and the service was really good.
We asked about the electric car charging and were told we could just plug in. We were not told that we would be charged £10 for it at the end of the stay. This should be made clear at the charge point or by reception. Bear this in mind if you only need a small charge! Also be sure to check your bill at the end of your stay, there were some extra drinks on ours just labelled as “beverages” until my husband spotted it and asked. When the receipt was pulled up they were not ours.

The beakfast selection was good, but arrived painfully slowly. We had to wait for tea/coffee, then toast, then cooked breakfast. However, it was hot and tasty when it did come. Dinner was lovely, and, as the weather was so hot, we shared starters and dessert, tapas style.
The long wait for breakfast was frustrating. The bed was comfy, but too soft and the duvet too warm for unusual summer heat, however, we really liked the room and its outlook over the herb garden.

Best hotel breakfast I have had in years [ full English ] A really nice evening meal served by friendly, efficient and amusing staff. Good post dinner drinks in the comfortable lounge with likeminded strangers. Room ws comfortable with a good bed.
there was quite a bit of noise around 5.30 - 6.00 a.m. right outside our room with stuff being loaded/unloaded or whatever. It woke us up and went on for some time. Rather spoilt what was otherwise a perfectly quiet night.

We are looking forward to visiting Titchwell again in the future. The hotel was inviting, clean and welcoming. Our room was beautifully decorated, with everything you could need and more. The staff were so kind, from the first welcome on reception to staff in the bar and restaurant. Everyone said hello and were keen to chat and make our stay great. I don’t very often write reviews, but feel Titchwell really deserves a great review!

Pretty little hotel. Lovely outlook. Friendly staff. Great location for us visiting friends in Brancaster. Quite expensive. Our room was too light when we were trying to get to sleep. The heating control panel was very bright and wouldn't switch off. Lights outside the front window were bright and we couldn't close the blinds tight enough to block it out. Duvet was very thin and I just prefer a weightier one.
