The Railway was well located near Burnham Market high street (but not right in it) and communication throughout was good (we received calls pre check-in, post check-in and after our visit to check everything was ok). The room was good, clean and tidy and the extra space (Paddington) made a useful dressing area. The extra facilities (e.g. communal lounge and honesty bar) were clean and quirky.

The parking can be tight, especially if you are the middle space and last into the car park as we were one night.

The room had all the comforts needed for our stay. The bed was particularly comfortable with quality linen. The in room refreshments provided were welcomed and the shared lounge provided drinks and snacks with an honesty box which was a nice touch although we didn’t use them. The outdoor space looked pleasant as an area to relax in the sunshine! Parking was easy and instruction for the key lock box was very clear.

Noise from room above. En-suite shower room was very small. A large person would struggle in this space.

The location was fine within walking distance of the village. The bedroom was comfortable I liked the allocated parking space eliminated any parking problems. Outside space was very clean and comfortable.

Outside space would benefit from shade and perhaps more plants beautifully furnished but felt a little bare and we were blessed with lovely weather so very hot. I would have like a glass of wine from the honesty bar but only bottles available perhaps small bottles could be available.

Beautifully appointed hotel with high quality fittings and furniture. We stayed in Victoria room which was quite small but was fine for us. There is also a comfortable lounge with an honesty bar and a garden area with comfortable outdoor furniture. There is a hot tub that needs to be booked and paid for separately. The location is great - easy walking distance of Burnham Market but very quiet.

We could clearly hear noise from other rooms, including one neighbour snoring and one who had early morning starts (5.30 and 7am on the days we stayed) and who unfortunately repeatedly let the room door slam shut and consequently had us wide awake. There was also a bit of a drain smell in the room.

Easy to find - good on-site parking with reserved space. A good location in a beautiful small village - very convenient for the local coastal area. Code entry - no resident staff - all very easy. Immaculate facility and extremely stylish & luxurious - very tastefully done. Nice size room with large comfortable bed, a good television and aircon. Nice teas & biscuits. Shower room good. Next village is Nelson’s birthplace - very nice public house there.

Beautiful property, great to have some outside space and a sitting area with honesty bar to use and enjoy. The carriage was beautifully presented.

There was nothing to dislike but I feel there is a missed opportunity for the railway carriage to have a little bit of private outside space. Either on the platform or where the cushions are kept. I feel it needs it and it would greatly improve the stay.

Very well provisioned with a lovely style to the room and building. Great family room upstairs. Beautiful village nearby, short walk to playground and good pub.

Need more electric car charging points (or a faster one). Towel rail couldn't be switched off so bathroom was really hot, radiator in shared lounge was also on which in August seemed a waste!

Five minutes walk from everything in Burnham Market. Good instructions for entry (no staff for check in). Plush, comfortable, very well equipped. Everything was new, shiny and worked properly. The building had loads of character, including an actual railway carriage for one of the rooms. There was a well stocked honesty bar for late night (quiet) revelry. Friendly staff members around in the morning.

Honestly? Nothing.

Exceptionally clean and smelt like a spa as you walked in. Beautifully decorated with a lovely communal area with drinks and snacks .

We had noisy neighbours in the next room the first night. Laughing and screaming until gone 1.30am. Not the fault of the owners but annoying never the less. One of our two parking spaces was taken by someone else so we had to park one of our cars in the village car park.

There was nothing at all we didn’t not just like but love. The decor, attention to detail and standard of accommodation were faultless. The provision of teas and coffee and water in the room was plentiful and varied and the lovely shower products all just added to the luxury feel.

Everything we needed and more was on offer. Faultless.
