Location absolutely perfect! On the high street overlooking the beach front. Managed to park for free in the spaces out the front every day as well which was great. Room had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable.

We were in the first room at the top of the stairs and it was noisy. The doors of the rooms slam really loudly and also the door to the stairs is very noisy as constantly being slammed. We didn't use the toilet brush but you could clearly see faeces on it from previous use which was not nice. It was a case of push it out the way and try not to look at it!! But.....the hotel was a central location, reasonably priced and adequate for what we needed. So it was still great.

The accommodation was well situated for easy access to Smithdon High School, where I worked the following day. The room was clean and comfortable.

More variety in the menu would have been appreciated. Everything involved chips, which, while not disastrous, is not good for me as a Type 1 Diabetic. Also, the T&Cs from Booking.com said, "WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge", yet when I asked at the bar I was told there wasn't any. As a result, I could not check for any urgent, last-minute messages connected with the following day. Also, the shower cubicle was too small - I could not reach my feet to put soap on them. Also, I could not change the overhead shower to the handheld one. I cannot help feeling that the accommodation needs an update.

We were arriving late, nearly an hour after check in time. The hotel rang (just as I was keying the number in to ring them!) to check our ETA, and were fine with it. We had a room we’ve had before, it was a bit cold at first but the heater soon had us warmed. The bed was comfy, the room was clean. We asked for some extra milk, immediately given, and there was a biscuit to go with our tea as well. The bathroom was spacious, and clean also. We did not book breakfast although this was offered (even though we were late arriving), as we know Hunstanton well and intended to visit a specific cafe in town. The location was superb, a few yards from the town centre in one direction and the beach in another, and we were able to park right outside free of charge, advantage of arriving so late! So we had free parking all next day too. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we feel we got a bargain price-wise.

When the toilet flushed, it made a very loud noise that woke me up when my spouse used it in the middle of the night. The light switch works both bed area and bathroom. There is no door or curtain between the bed area and bathroom.

This hotel was in a Great location to the beach,we pre booked breakfast and it was amazing,came with unlimited drinks and cereal and toast was also available, Comfy beds,everything we needed for a few days away!Great staff very friendly and helpful,would go back and already tried for the end of march but unfortunately they’re fully booked,

Room 10 had a macerator as no plumbing so if either of us used the toilet/sink it would wake the other up very noisy 🙈 also not sure it had private parking so be aware as we parked near pub opposite the Irish pub and when we checked out our car had been hit back and front 😭

We really enjoyed staying at the property. We came to celebrate my daughter 16th birthday and from the start were surprised by a nice birthday gift that was waiting for my daughter in our room; the big balloon she keeps in her room until now now, a beautiful birthday card, a tag with a big 16 number and a cute notebook. The staff went beyond and above with this surprise! Thank you again! I booked a sea view double room and we had very good sea views. The room was warm, clean with very comfortable beds and duvet. The bathroom had shower and all amenities needed. We found the room quiet with the good noise insolation considering the pub downstairs being part of the property. On tne evening there was a life music entertainment with a nice music group singing. The property is dog friendly and our labradoodle felt safe and happy. The most important, the staff was very welcoming and friendly from the start to the end of our stay. Would definitely recommend the property for seaside escape and good service. We will definitely come back. Thank you again for a birthday treat for my daughter!

In our room everything was on a slant, while it was somewhat characteristic it's didn't really make for a comfortable sleep 😔 the mattresses are very firm also, which played havoc with my back and pregnant wife! grubby marks over the ceiling, expanding foam coming out of the "wall/skirting board" and wall paper peeling off, the heating is also set for strange times and can't be altered by guests! BUT..... all that being said these are easy fixes and we would 100% return if the smaller issue were sorted for a more comfortable stay 😊

The cooked breakfast was good, although the sausages were average. Room was very clean with a good view of the sea. A s it was hot a portable fan was already running on our arrival. Access to the room was very easy. The staff were pleasant, helpful and obliging. Was able to get unlimited free on street parking right outside the hotel and our room. Bed was comfortable.

Milk was long life help yourself from the carton, as was the fruit juice. Only butter was available, no alternatives.

Excellent location - at the heart of North-Easter Norfolk and the centre of Hunstanton, and best of all - living above a very nice pub! The food and beer were excellent, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was reasonably sized, spotlessly clean and had some very nice stylish touches making it not just yet another anonymous hotel room. Very nice decoration indeed. Despite the central location and proximity to the pub, it was surprisingly quiet.

A few things: The bathroom was not very big but sufficient, however, the sink was the size of a dentist's spittoon - a few extra inches would help a lot! The room itself would benefit from any table or shelf space. There was a chair entirely occupied by the cattle and tea/coffee staff, the only usable surface was the windowsill, and even a small nightstand would help a lot! I had to put my book on an armchair for the night, and the clothes had to be hung (there was a good number of hooks). The beds might be a little wider (this was a twin room). All in all, these were minor issues, the stay overall left very good impressions!

Beach and the irish pub is probably the only place that made us feel welcome

Was trying to buy items souvenirs and food but because we were Scottish they refused to take Scottish money absolutely disgusting as its legal tender. Then one of the shops tried to say it was because forged notes I said we get the same when the English come to Scotland then another shop keeper that eventually took our money said its because the bank charges for exchanging it so be aware. The room wasn't as clean as made be was to small and you couldn't get Internet even though we did what they said we video'd it to show And had a wall to look at from the window also advertising food but didn't have any when we were their said kitchen was closed and preparing for tomorrow even charged £10 for our dog but it didn't mention on website about it just said dogs welcome

The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I took my dog with me and everyone made a big fuss of him, very accommodating. I ate in the restaurant/bar during my evening and had the best homemade lasagne, I was able to speak to the chef the next morning and complimented him on the delicious food, what a lovely man. I’ll certainly be returning.

There was nothing I didn’t like, but maybe a welcome pack in the room with the WiFi code, local information and neighbouring places to visit would be a nice touch.
