The hotel was an Ideal location for a wedding we attended nearby, we arrived before check in time to a lovely friendly welcome and the room was ready, we had an garden room which was small but had everything we needed and lovely doors opening onto a patio area with a table and chairs and a nice garden with pond. We slept well, although it is on the A10 the room was round the back and well soundproofed. Breakfast was lovely a full English and kippers with poached eggs, lovely hot toast as well as a continental buffet was plentiful. We would def stay again when in the area.

We had a lovely stay at the Andel, we arrived in the evening, had an easy check in shown to our room, which was in the courtyard at the back of the pub, the room was lovely and clean, well decorated and even had finishing touches of shampoo and bubble bath. Tea and coffee facilities were also provided, it is set on the main road which is very busy and noisy at times throughout the night with wagons passing etc, the bed was comfortable. The seating area out back was nice they have gardens and a little pond. We ate at the pub in the evening, I am gluten free and they had options for me, the food was lovely and homemade too. We paid for breakfast which was also lovely, plenty of options, cereals yoghurts gluten free bread and we had the full English which was really tasty. The staff were excellent through and friendly, which made our stay more welcoming.

Decor and furnishings in the pub were abit dated, but it was very clean and well looked after, the garden areas could do with being looked at, although we are coming out of winter so this maybe a reason.

Breakfast/dinner cooked to order and quality excellent. Staff/management excellent and attempted to make our stay enjoyable. A family run hotel that wants you to return. Special thanks to Matthew, his sister and the lovely young lady at Reception - she was the “Jill of all trades’

Asked for a ground floor room - but we were given a 1st floor room. Evidently there seems to be a communication problem between booking.com and the hotel. Some updating of room would be good but this is an older property and a bit of tolerance should be given. Next to a road so traffic noise in the morning. No problems during the night and we slept well

It is an old building and I love that. The staff were lovely especially Teresa, she was chatty and friendly and very attentive, we had a pleasant evening with lovely home cooked food and a drink, looked like well stocked bar. The breakfast was equally lovely and great staff.

The pillows wasn’t that great and bathroom could do with update but I would return. I still had a descent sleep although you are on the main round.

Family run, very clean, cosy establishment in good location, easy to find, very friendly and efficient staff, good, well cooked, hot food. Reliable Wi-Fi, well stocked bar, offers value for money. We had a large comfortable room, comfy bed, nice bedding, good selection of channels on TV, trouser press, hairdryer, plenty of storage and free parking. Also a lovely garden behind hotel. Could this hotel benefit from some updating ? Yes, but it suited us 100% and no complaints.

If you’re looking for extremely modern and chain like hotels don’t come here. Quirky and quaint but maybe not to everyone’s taste.

The owner and staff at Andel Lodge are absolutely amazing and will go out their way to do anything for you. They are so friendly and honestly even my oldest son wanted to say bye personally to her because she has the best customer service ever. The gardens were beautiful and you have your own little porch with a table overlooking the gardens. Great place to relax and stay with family. We visited Watuntga wildlife reserve and Sandringham estate all accessible via public transport.

We booked Andel Lodge at short notice because the accommodation we had originally booked, advised us late that they had overbooked and could not accommodate us. It was not easy to find an alternative place because we had a dog with us. However, we found a room at Andel Lodge and our dog and ourselves were made very welcome. The hosts and staff throughout our stay have been excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the door to the room opened directly to the outside so there was immediate access to a garden for the dog. Great breakfasts and a good choice of food and drink. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it.

Nothing really but we would advise any light sleeper to maybe take some earplugs as the hotel is located on a very busy road with some very heavy traffic. It certainly didn’t affect the enjoyment of our stay.

The breakfast was substantial with a good mixture of cold buffet and hot food cooked to order. A vegetarian option could have been offered. Possibly cereals in large containers rather than the individual boxes might be more economical.

The plug hole in the bathroom of room six could have been cleaner. Our room wasn’t serviced during our stay, as we were only there for two nights, though we did have the option of requesting servicing. Maybe the mugs could have been changed.

The staff were great, especially, Teresa,very friendly and the food delicious.

I asked for a ground floor room and we were on the first floor. I asked for a view of the garden and we were on the front of the property, onto the main road. The bedroom window wasnt fitting properly so the noise from the main road was non-stop.

Stayed a night as near Michael Buble concert at Sandringham. Staff were outstanding - advised us about local traffic times (it was hell in and out of venue), helped with pump for low tyre pressure. Comfortable en-suite room with bath, kettle etc. Cracking breakfast.
