The receptionist was very welcoming on my arrival. I had booked a single room but was upgraded to a double room. The room very nicely decorated and very comfortable. It was a cold night and the (blow heaters) heating had been put on so the room was toasty for my arrival. Nice little touches in the bathroom like a flannel and dressing gowns.

I was surprised that there was no kettle or tea/coffee in the room. The room directly above room 14 has squeaky floor boards possibly by the bed so every time the guest got out of bed (to possibly use the toilet) which happened 3 or 4 times during the night the squeaking woke me up.

Everything was fine. On arrival, we were told that there was a 'function' that night ..... but they kindly allocated a family room in a separate block where we had a large multi-bed room and working air-conditioning - and it was quiet!

We couldn't empty the bath after use because we couldn't activate the drainage plug. We let them know. The shower was fine. No problems. Perhaps more choice for those not having a cooked breakfast. Perhaps free access to hot coffee for breakfast. Perhaps a light bed quilt for warm nights.

Stayed here several times, so know what to expect. The up-graded rooms are definitely a bit nicer, generally bigger and a bit better furnished. Food in the restaurant is always good, and breakfast is always lovely. The hotel is in a nice setting with good free parking. Its often good value in comparison to other hotels in the area. The staff always seem pleasant, especially the guy that is normally looking after people in the restaurant.

If I could improve anything, it would be the showers in the bathrooms, I'm not a massive fan of "over the bath" showers, some people that have mobility issues would potentially struggle getting in and out of them.

Stayed at Pinewood Hotel for 10 nights for work in May. Such a tranquil feeling driving back to this hotel after work, set in beautiful gardens with a gorgeous view eating breakfast. My room was spotlessly clean with a bath & shower & the most comfortable bed to end the day. Even though this hotel appears to be miles from anywhere, it is a 10 minute drive to Slough. Eaton, Windsor, Ascot, Heathrow airport & surrounding area is easy to drive to.

I've been here before, 2 years ago. I thought they might have done some upkeeping. The room was satisfactory.

Toilet didn't have a lid and with the vanity bench behind it, I was in constant worry of dropping something in there! The fan in the bathroom was very loud, so a relaxing bath was not so relaxing. I looked forward to getting out to not hear the buzz of the fan! The beds - 2 singles, tried them both - very saggy. I like a firm bed, so not a great sleep.

We were lucky enough to be upgraded. The room was lovely. We had booked the hotel in order to go to a TV recording at Pinewood studios so the location was great. Breakfast was lovely - cooked to order by the chef who took our order and specifications himself.

The bar was closed when we returned, which seemed quite early, but was probably due to a private function being held at the hotel. It wasn't really a problem to us though.

Everyone was extremely friendly. The receptionist was also empathetic and gave me an upgrade as I had to stay due to my husband having to stay overnight in Wexham hospital. I had half board and went into the restaurant to have dinner which was absolutely fantastic. The Maitre de was extremely attentive and made sure every attention to detail was taken. I had roasted lamb and then pear, plum and apple crumble with custard. The whole meal was outstanding and could not have been any better. The following morning I had breakfast, which again was outstanding. There was such a variety of choice with cereal, porridge, toast, fruit juices and then you had a choice of continental or cooked breakfast which was made there in front of you and bought to the table piping hot. I had several cups of freshly made filter coffee, muesli and then a freshly made omelette filled to the brim with ham, onions, peppers, cheese, tomatoes and mushrooms and it was divine. The room was spotless, I had access to a coffee and tea station in the room and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was lovely and hot and there was a selection of soap and shampoos which was very much appreciated. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would like to pass on my appreciation to everyone who made it so enjoyable, making a horrible situation bearable.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Comfortable room, quiet if you are at the back of the hotel. There was a function that evening which was quite noisy, but the staff allowed me to have a quiet room which was away from the noise, so that was fine. There are several functions around now, so it could be good to check before booking. Plenty of parking usually, but the car park was almost full due to the function.

Perhaps a notification beforehand that there would be a function that evening.

Very comfortable secluded hotel outside the Ulez zone but within easy reach of the airport ( an early morning pickup for our son and his new wife). The restaurant was a marvellous surprise - looking at the menu, we had expected "pub" quality food. Not a bit of it! Both meals were imaginative, impeccably prepared and quite delightful.

A small matter, but the lift to our room was out of order, and I had the impression that it had been for some time

Room was very hot. Air con did very little if anything. Opened both windows but sadly found we seemed to be above where smokers gathered. Room needed a fan.
