Exceeded my expectations x3! Even though its not the style we usually like, but here you might feel that tge landlord and staff love their property and treat it with so much love. Very comfortable, specious rooms, good smell and sooo clean that it was my 1st hotel ever when I didn’t want to leave any single crisp and didn’t let my kids to do that. The carpet was the cleanest I ever saw in any hotel, even under the bed. I love love love this place and regret having booked the other night in a different tiny stinky hotel. Motel Cofotel is definitely very good in price and quality (I visited hundreds of hotels around the world and have what to compare with)

There were some drops from the conditioner at night due to heavy rain so by morning the carpet was slightly wet. I was lucky to have noticed that very early as I had there 2 notebooks being charged on the floor. The drops started falling right on my computer. I saved my computers and fixed this promptly. But another dresser near the bed would help to avoid this in future.

The location was great and the rooms were clean and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. It was only minutes from the St Simeon ferry, and there was a great Casse-Croute and a little grocery store nearby that was still open when we arrived. And the actual property exceeded our expectations. The lady at reception was so friendly and helpful, ensuring we had 2 rooms next to each other (as we were a family of 6 traveling together) and the rooms were very clean and updated, and had everything we needed (mini fridge, coffee maker, plenty of towels, and amenities).

There was a late night party/bonfire at the homes next to the property, and it made us feel a little uncomfortable when we arrived as it was loud and the smell of cannabis was quite strong. Not ideal when traveling with kids. Unfortunately, this is not really something that the property can control. So I would recommend perhaps having a room at the other side of the property.

The staff was very cordial and accommodating. The main office closes early but they have a 24/7 service with a sister property. I needed a couple of items and after calling, they were at my room door within 10 minutes with a smile and the items.

The room was clean and staff very professional and friendly.

The room was very large with air conditioning. We were given a free upgrade to 2 queen beds instead of one queen bed. The lovely lady at the check-in desk let us park out front with our truck, I think because we had kayaks and bikes on it. The hotel is on the main highway. No road noise, quiet room. We had a fridge in the room but no microwave. The sparkling clean bathroom had all amenities including a hair dryer. The bed was very comfortable and fresh. 2 blocks from the ferry terminal and three restaurants.

I didn’t expect such a great room for a two star hotel and was so pleasantly surprised! The room was very large and very comfortable with a fridge and sitting area outside. Well located close to the ferry too.

All was fine no complaints

If I hadn’t booked this motel on booking.com, I would have never stopped at that place. The outside is not very welcoming, the logo and signs seem faded out and outdated. Inside it seems you have travelled back to the mid 80s. The interior has these dark coloured thick carpets, old-fashioned lamps on the wall, heavy curtains in the lobby and dark wooden furniture. Surprisingly, it is all well kept and in order, nothing is shabby. Everything is clean and makes a good impression including the rooms. The women working at the reception were very welcoming and friendly. A good experience

The humming of the air conditioning is so loud, that if you switch it off, you’ll still hear the ones in your neighbours’ rooms.

We have chosen this hotel as a "pit-stop" hotel between Tadoussac and Quebec. We were happy with our choice. The room was big and clean. Staff very kind.

Nothing. Everything ok

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel offers 2 access to room via inside or directly outside. 2 chairs to sit on outside. Staff was friendly

I have liked the over all setup of the motel and room size with other amenities. I had no problem to do my things during my visit at Cofotel. Thanks.

The Motel Cofotel staff has limited to no English language knowledge that's what I felt uncomfortable and I did not get more information about anything which I required to know during my visit, So, my suggestion that please provide at least one person at the reception desk who can speak English.

A little disappointed in the location. No view of the harbour/beach. But it was roomy, clean and comfortable. And management went above and beyond in helping us.
