Parking was difficult

Our room was on the ground floor and it was a suite so that included a small seating area with a lovely sea view. The bedroom was spacious. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Breakfast was good and once again, a lovely view from the dining room. It was also a good location for visiting the East Neuk of Fife. We would also recommend the Dreel Tavern for food, it is within a short walking distance from The Bank.

Check in and out was in the bar so, you had to hang around and wait until someone was free. On check out ( and at 10.30am ) there were already drinkers there watching TV, complaining about the chat between ourselves checking out and the staff! Really !Not conducive to a pleasant goodbye! Nowhere to park your car close to The Bank but a free car park was fairly close by.

Huge bedroom and en-suite bathroom.

Parking at the hotel was difficult. There was only one young girl serving the entire hotel for breakfast. She was friendly and professional however it felt unfair to leave her to work alone. Although service was slow the food was good and arrived hot.

What a great weekend in a delightful venue. Great Hotel with all you need right on hand. The Hotel is split into Bar and restaurant next door with the accommodation through a separate door. Lovely room, good facilities and very clean with tea, coffee biscuits, water in a mini fridge. Great view and giant bed and TV. Restaurant next door was excellent and the food was amazing. Breakfast, well what a delight, great produce and a great variety of continental and cooked and plenty of it. So much that we did not need to eat all day again until late Dinner which again was delicious. Very friendly and attentive staff and what a great atmosphere in the bar during the day.

Only down side was the lack of close car parking. However we were lucky enough to get one of the 3/4 spaces on the street outside the front door. If unable to there are other quite close options for free parking so not a major issue really.

The service provided was exemplary. Given check in was officially 2.30pm & we were going to a wedding further up road in Crail to get in super comfortable clean room at 11.30am was so good, thank you again. Room is huge, massive bed, huge tv with Sky, loads storage space, very comfortable, huge bathroom with Bath & separate power shower. Amazing views and lovely viewing chairs too.

Breakfast wasn't overly great but maybe just our own personal wrong choice on the day, however can't knock the actual choice available. The setting again & views are fantastic

Breakfast and dinner were both really good, the restaurant has fantastic views and is worth visiting just for that. My room was a big airy room with one downside, the outside wall onto the street was a frosted glass window which was both cool and light.

My room had a frosted glass wall making it cool, light and noisy from the street. There was no parking apart from the street or a car park a good walk away

The Bank is a converted Bank building situated in Anstruther High Street. The rear of the building looks out to the sea. The room we had was spacious, clean, warm and comfortable with all necessary features such as tea, coffee tray, hair drier, etc. The bathroom was big and well appointed with with a good shower, bath, white fluffy towels and toiletries. The view from the window was across the mouth of the River Dreel as it met the sea. We ate breakfast and dinner while we were there and the food was fresh and tasty.

Nothing! However, please note....there is no dedicated car park but we managed to find a spot in the street outside. Also no lift inside although there are ground floor rooms. Also you have to leave the accommodation part of the building and re enter through the next door to the bar when going for food or drinks.

The breakfast menu was good, everything you could want. Fresh fruit, yoghurts and cereal to help yourself to, hot breakfast to order. I had hot croissants with scrambled eggs - really good. Service great, staff really friendly. The hotel has a nice restaurant and bar area with a beer garden. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom a good size, plenty of hot water. There is a safe and small fridge in the room as well as kettle and plenty tea, coffee etc.

The room was quite small, no chairs to sit on.

Accommodation is good, but a preference is for the upstairs bedrooms. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, as are the staff

Breakfast is a very important part of a visit. We were disappointed on two fronts. One is that the bread used for toast is too thin and so often over toasted, although it can be difficult for staff to multi task and keep an eye on toast. Good bakers in Anstruther can supply better bread. Quantity of food could be better also.

Both rooms were huge. Room 6 had a great view from the wee snug. Room 5 looked the other way but despite overlooking the road and pub entrance on a Friday night we didn't hear any street noise. The dining room was lovely as was the food. We had dinner and then breakfast the next day.

Parking was trickybut we found a spot up the hill. Service was slow in the restaurant on both meals with little things forgotten. However we were offered a 10% discount ondinner which always helps
